Star Trek : Strange New Worlds

Caught up with season 2, loved it, other than the signing episode. Start of season 3 has been decent, thought the Gorn episode was a bit of a cop out, but I am very much enjoying this Trek. Best we’ve had for a while, although I do feel each season is a little worse than the last. I guess they are quite restricted because so much is already canon from that time period.

Thought ep 7 was crap and I'm only half way through.

Docu style Trek? Feel like I was watching Big Brother, Love Island etc - and I hate that crap too :)

Agreed. I lost interest after a few minutes and skipped to the end, lol.

So, this season, one or two decent episodes so far. The rest, typical Hollywood nonsense.

Last episode basically copying from Babylon 5 (which did it twice) and The Expanse with the idea of a documentary team charting a day in the life... Just really stale city at this point.

Another clown episode this week, however this one starts off quite amusing and goes on for a bit too long with the hijinks. The dance at the end was strangely hot :o

Ok.............if this was the only 'clown' episode in the whole season, i actually enjoyed this episode. However, the majority of the season has seen silly Trek episodes, it's become a joke. It seems more cartoon shenanigans than space exploration.

I did like Pike's hair and eyebrow raises, the rock music when they first walked down the corridor and Doug and No 1 had me chuckling.

That was utter cringe as well.

Only thing going for the show is Christina chongs legs

Another miserable episode. Really, this series has collapsed. And it started so well.
What happened to Strange New Worlds? Now we seem to be Strange New Writers.
Very disappointing.

Another absolutely silly episode. Who wrote this - Russell T Davies? In fact all it needed to complete the stupidity was Ncuti to pop up at some point in a Doctor Who cameo. The writing for SNW is starting to make (some of) the last series of Dr Who look good!
