no it's not, stop talking **** - i know you like to spend a weird amount of time talking about man u but at least try and not come across as a complete spanner by just making stuff up.

is that 90-95% of the utd's fan base? no. so you're still just making stuff up.

So what? It’s not just the system, it’s the coaching of the system and how the players suit it… and how the manager motivates the players.

Just because Ten Hag ultimately came up short doesn’t mean we can’t try something else.

So you're going to do the same thing you did after Moyes. And after Van Gaal. And after Mourinho. And after Solskjær. And after ten Hag. Just change the manager, and hope that things will be different this time and the players don't down tools at the first mere hint of it not being easy street.

Why tho? Your midfield is atrocious, your defence is average at best, your wb's (the key to the entire system thst amorim plays are amongst the worst in the league) your goalkeepers are championship level at best. I'd argue that the teams thst finished 1-8 last season and spurs all have better squads, then the likes of Bournemouth, fulham, Palace all have better managers.

Except they did.

Because you overhype and then come crashing down. Look at how a loss against arsenal was taken by folks, said it before but you need to completely ignore performances and results against the big boys of the league.

Just because you say they expected that doesn’t make it true. Plus, it's just a prediction and not necessarily serious. You've got us being relegated and that's not overly likely. (I might regret that now :D)

I don’t think the squad is that bad. There are weaknesses of course, but it’s not bottom half, IMO. It just looks that way at the moment. Sure, the midfield is weak, but it looks even weaker when it's 2v3 in most games.

You’ve said it yourself there, you think the traditional mid-table clubs all have better managers, so why shouldn’t we be looking for a better one too.

I'm really not sure as to the best way forward. The Burnley game tomorrow is now a huge one, and then the owners need to have a discussion with Amorim and plot a way forward. If he absolutely refuses to change, then he's finished.

Moyes - poor timing and looked out of his depth. Not a progressive manager in any way, shape or form and never has been.

LvG - best days were well behind him.

Mourinho - same as LvG.

Solskjaer - actually did quite well considering his credentials, but did anyone ever really think he's destined to be an elite manager?

Ten Hag - was given a fair crack at the job and after 2 years we were going backwards.

The same criticisms have been aimed at the players for the past decade, yet the squad is very different now. It's easier to try and find a manager who can actually work with these players. Amorim was a gamble for several reasons and he will tell you himself, he's been nowhere near good enough so far.

He really needs to just switching from having an exclusive system, to a preferred system, and be able to change it up and set the team up to win games and beat the opposition, rather than just implement a system.

That's what it looks like on the pitch....a bunch of players who are concentrating on trying to implement their manager's system......not just focusing on playing football as a team.

I wouldnt be at all surprised if Amorim resigns. Even more so if Utd lose to Burnley this weekend, 1 pt out of the first 9pts, out to Grimsby etc. He looks increasingly frustrated at every game.

80% for the bants (:D), 20% serious as I don't think you've actually addressed the biggest issues with your 1st team - goalkeeper/cm/wb's, you needed a striker for sure, I just don't think sesko is the answer. I also don't belive getting both cunha and mbeumo was good business when other areas have glaring issues.

You've got to stick with him now until the end of the season surely as you've just backed him to the tune of 200m again, and with garnacho leaving surely you will be buying a keeper? Although tbh, you should have binned him off end of the season with a thanks but the experiment failed and gone for Frank or Iraola.

Wingbacks are the big 'thing' for the system and I agree they are not convincing at all - nor are there many in football altogether. Cunha made sense but Mbeumo less so.

They need to sign a midfielder too before the window shuts. This new young goalkeeper will be under incredible pressure.

They'll want to stick with him, but it may not be possible if things continue like this.

Surely the first thing an incoming manager needs to do is to settle things down and play to the strengths of the team, get them well drilled and organised. Then slowly make changes over time. I think we're seeing now you are never going to get time to rip things up and start from the bottom of the table, the pressure is just far too great. I think Frank would have done this, I actually would have liked him but I was happy with Amorim as well...

The Burnley game tomorrow at Old Trafford is going to be a pressure cooker, that's for sure.

Did 95% of United fans across the world participate in the ocuk prediction poll?

i was utterly amazed you werent in for frimpong, cheap and the best rwb in the world possibly

Gone bit quiet on that front hasn't it? nothing for the past few days

Maybe amorim will surprise everyone and go to a formation that suits what you've got, I wouldnt hold my breathe tho, seems to be a thing in modern football where managers stick to their 'principles' regardless and screw the results/performances.

There have been reports they needed to get a sale through before buying the goalkeeper, which does seem to make sense as it's gone quiet, but now Garnacho is off to Chelsea.

I'd like to see him at least try it, Amorim is only 40, the 3421 is not really his life's work - why not give something else a go. All great managers are adaptable.

Would a 4-2-3-1 not be better as again the 3-4-2-1 relies on wb's

We don't even have 2 goalies. Just Heaton
mainoo wants more game time, give him a pair of gloves. and stick him beside bayindir. problem solved. bayindir is a decent keeper, he's just yellow as a ducks foot and made of feathers. having someone else beside him for corners, even if it's just mainoo with a pair of ill fitting gloves on and i reckon we'll be reet.

Maguire, he seems to be able to do it all.
