The Newcastle United Club Thread **No Spoilers**

Training ground and Stadium. The two things the PIF could easy do. That’s been banded about in the transfer thread as lost interest.

Brenton has just had its second refub with the first one costing over 10million.

We’ve had two leaks from extremely reliable sources. Club and PIF seem to be leaning towards new stadium rather than St.James refub due to fan feedback taking them by surprise.

Over a Billion dollar stadium and the second biggest training complex in Europe behind PSG have been leaked. Two separate companies have also been mooted to deal with it. Guys that did the Spurs Stadium seem to be looking at the training ground.

I said Previously look at the recruitment.

You are probably looking at around 2billion probably more once you take in the infrastructure.

Roads, metro, green spaces and listed buildings as well has it being City centred makes it 100% worse.
Yeah but how do you get to that from Howe saying "theres a lot going on behind the scenes whether that is stadium or training ground related"?

He can’t exactly give the full run down after a game. He states the owners are fully committed and new stadium and training ground takes time. I believe he even had to answer a question on the DOF and new CEO.
Ima guess nothing will happen this season with a stadium
Unless it’s just a quick announcement then no. St.James is a host for the Euros.

Interesting promotional material, twitter claims there no images of them at the stadium anymore.....

Bayern calling us a small club as Nick was supposed to join them next year even though they never met VFB asking price and kept low balling thinking the price will go down as his contract does.

Bayern’s sporting director Christoph Freund
“We at Bayern Munich are very, very attractive, we notice that again and again when we talk to players. Financially, the Premier League is in a different league. You have discussions, you have a certain relationship.”

“Ultimately, it’s the player’s decision as to what’s the best step for his career. We’re not involved in that. The sums of money involved; how much money is at stake; that they have brutal opportunities in the Premier League.”

“Not just two or three clubs, many clubs. Newcastle is a good club, but not the top tier.”

“Bayern Munich is Bayern Munich, a very, very big club. The boys can win titles here, we can offer them very interesting options internationally, and domestically as well. It’s always the player’s decision.”

Newcastle is a good club but not the top tier is pretty accurate though to be fair.
Its also a snide dig and know your place statement, to be fair and never needed to be said.

oddly they don't whine about having more spending power than most clubs in the same league as them by a long way, only when it affects them personally.

True, wasnt necessary to say it as nobody has said , or would say, anything to the contrary.
you came in here just to troll or what? Bayern are clearly unprofessional and disrespectful for no reason at all...

didn't VFB tell them 70mil and they never bid it.

Doesn't look like he's trolling to me

I don't see much wrong with what Freund said TBH. I think his point is that players like him would ordinarily stay in German Football, peaking at Bayern before moving overseas. The money in today's Premier League means players are being taken from the mighty Bayern and not just by the usual mega clubs but by smaller ones in England too. He is probably a bit frustrated that the financial pull of what he sees as lesser clubs is greater than his club now. I think directors of English clubs would say the same if top English players started choosing Saudi clubs at 23 years old ahead of Manchester or Liverpool.

They must have really wanted him for the club to make an announcement on a missed transfer hah.

The Bayern Reddit is lit!
