Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

Puke Edwards taking the Isak sale well lol. Awful Journalist!!
You were quoting him earlier in the window when he was reporting what you wanted to hear!

He's had a shocker of a window though and I genuinely felt a bit sorry for him yesterday. He was getting an absolute kicking on twitter and it looked like he was having a bit of a breakdown at one point. Tbf a lot of it was his own fault. He bought into Newcastle's propaganda all summer and seemingly genuinely believed everything he was being told by the club was fact and was getting into stupid arguments with blag accounts and or kids abusing him and even started gloating the other week when he was sure Isak wasn't leaving. It was always going to come back and bite him on the backside.

I’ve always called him puke Edwards :D he’s admitted in the past of purposely winding up Newcastle fans and enjoying it. You witnessed it also with this deal.

The club does use him to push out false info.

I know there was some questions earlier in the thread about how Liverpool can afford these transfers.

I've done some fag packet calculations and from an accounting/PSR point of view, Liverpool's incoming transfers have increased our annual costs by around £165m, with our sales reducing them by £75m so a net increase of £90m(ish). In addition to this we've probably made a profit on player sales of somewhere in the region of £140m meaning for this financial year our transfer dealings will have resulted in an accounting profit of somewhere in the region of £50m.

And yet you still believed his nonsense when he was telling you Isak wasn't leaving :p

Think you find I’ve said multiple times that the price wasn’t the issue once he went on strike. It was us getting in two replacements in .Which we have now done.

I'm looking forward to deadline day finishing so I can download a transfer update for FM and start a new save.
One of the posters on the Brentford forum is the FM researcher for the club. He mentioned he might, unsurprisingly, have to make a few edits to Wissa's hidden attributes... namely professional and loyalty!

Sky do make me chuckle, every 10 mins they declare they have breaking news to cut to and then they just go to a signing that they talked about 20 mins ago. How its still "breaking" news when you covered it earlier I dont know

Palace taking Igor from us on loan it seems!

Nice to see our rivals taking our 5th choice centre back, watch him have a great season now! I quite like him, but he's not the most mobile.

There's the Guehi deal, doing his medical in London, 35m 5 year contract!

Is that nearly a 600m transfer window?
What currency are we using today? Even if you take reported top end figures with add-ons, it comes in at around £450m with around £200m recouped through sales.
