Google Pixel 10 Series (10/10 Pro/10 Pro XL/10 Pro Fold & Pixel Watch 4)

I take back what I said about the Pixel 10 XL screen... It's the Pixel 8 Pro screen which is the problematic one. It's got a sickly green tint to it wheres the the 10 XL stays a more pleasant hue off axis. Even on axis the 8 Pro has a sickly green tint side by side.

The silver lining is you I don't really notice either being a problem outside comparisons in general use... However the green tint makes greys look way less pleasant and it's quite noticeable even outside comparisons.

That is all.

Yea - hadn't noticed on mine 10 Pro XL but now you've mentioned it, there is definitely a pink hue - particularly off axis as mentioned above.

Looking for a new phone to replace my S23+ but the 10 pro XL pink tinted screen is concerning for me. Are they all slightly pink/overly warm in tone?

The pink tint is only off axis, otherwise it's fine.
LG OLED TVs have the same pink tint off axis and people are always raving about how good those are

It's hard to notice in normal usage because you tend to be looking directly at your phone and even from the side it's hard to tell unless you have something to compare it to.

There is another thing I have noticed on the XL in camera the preview has very saturated colours but after taking the pic and processing it looks ok. 10 Pro doesn't have this issue.

Are you using Natural mode or Adaptive mode in display settings? Not camera settings, but the main display settings in the phone's main settings menu.
I found changing this from the default Adaptive mode to Natural removed the over saturation

Same settings in both phones. Checked camera app version and seemed same as well.
Will see tomorrow when replacement arrives.

Okay, loving the Pixel 10 Pro XL, I have to say. I do however don't like the whole making sure my 8 Pro is correctly obliterated for sending back to PCS Wireless, that was a bit of a pain... I hope I have done everything right, but you never know by the sound of things I'm reading online at the moment, half expecting it to come back with some issue with what I did.

Who thinks it's worth waiting out the release of the S26 series over the Pixel 10? They're not too far away now. Coming from an S23+.

Its possible the S26+ will replaced by the S26 Edge

Look up the S25 edge and see what you think, the weight is really good, 163g against 232g for a 10 XL (6.7" vs 6.8")

So far screen is white ;)
Good impressions how it feels in hand
Mous case - as it has only cutouts for buttons we will see how I get along with it in compare to previous Google case with case buttons.
Still downloading the apps so all CPU is used by that.
Happy so far

XL? Can you check the tint against another phone?

I'm tempted to return mine and gamble on the next one being better.

Have it next to p8pro
Diff screens so hard to match those in terms of brightness.
But definitely looks white - for me.
At first it was adaptive brightness that had all pinkish etc
Will see if I can take a photo with normal p8 later

Nice one cheers

official Pixelsnap case arrived today for the P10 Pro, indigo version… jinkies it’s slippy! Looks great, but I’m definitely throwing the phone across the room if I stick with this case.
I have a mous superthin but not the clear version. The clear version is super slippery the black version I got with the microfibre on the inside is super grippy.

Ideally I'd love to be bareback but my phone drops once or twice a year but that's too much to be able to cope with no case.

I've got the lightweight.
It's ok for now but if you leave it on the angle on the sofa it will slip when not horizontal. P8 case would stay there .

For me biggest test will while cycling and getting phone out on the move and taking phone out from a rear pocket.

Might try your one ... As long is not as grippy as P8 case...

I'm sure they do a pixel 10 version - yep:

Finally got the 10 Pro XL set up and I can't transfer maps timeline over, it says it's imported but nothing appears. FFS, literally the last thing to do and now it looks like I'll have to start over. I've tried every fix I can find and nothing works.
Did you sort this?
