That's an excellent deal and will last a billion times longer than the chinese rubbish. Just don't expect to get much back come resale time.

It says 2 owners, is 1 of those owners the garage itself? If not seems a bit sus 2 owners in 120 miles

Insurance is hell of a lot cheaper than the SYM NHT 125, £500 or so

Does anyone have any contacts in Nottingham to get any leads (FB groups perhaps?) I feel absolutely gutted for Yogesh. To come all the way from India on his bike only to get stolen in UK.

I will post this on Reddit UK to get more reach as well.

Boils my blood that does. And what do you think our coppers will do about it? Absolutely **** all. And even if they did, the thieves would be out on a suspended sentence anyway. But illegal immigrants can have iphones and private NHS healthcare in their 4 star hotels, no problem sir.

This country is so broken. We need to just remove all our political elite from the gene pool and start again, it's the only way.

Similar thing to pushbiker, he went all around the world...went to liverpool and pushbike nicked.

I was looking to post on FB about Yogesh, and I discovered one more post of his friend. Yogesh had all his passport, money and documents locked in the panniers of his bike.

Surprised scooter chassis don't flex like crazy, just saw what they look like- compared to a bicycle- they don't have a double triangle shape for stiffness.

Do scooters with section between legs have chassis in that area and therefore stiffer frame?

Was thinking I might try plugging it again but don’t know if I’d ever trust it and just be waiting for it to go again.

Is there a more permanent type of plug/fix you can perform?

Had to put it up on the paddock stand as where I park the bike is a slight incline and it kept sliding away on the kick stand alone!
The roadside plugs are only ever meant to be a temporary fix. If there's a lot of life left in the tyre I'll whip it off and do a proper patch with the Rema stuff, although to be fair the last tyre puncture was with less than 1k left on it and I cba to do it properly tbqfh so just ran it with a bacon strip in lol!!

Yeah there is loads of tread left in them. Not moved it yet since the replug so will call around the local grages to see if anyone can plug or replace it.

Depending on where the hole is plugs can be good for 1k+ miles with no loss of pressure (source: me)
I had a thorn within the tread, caused 2-3 psi loss over the course of a few days, so I did the rope repair on it and it's held well for 500-600 miles so far. Hopefully it will last the length of the tyre, got another 1500 miles or so left in it (I hope!)
