Just got One UI 8 beta though with September Security patch. Very nice. :cool:

Only noticed minor changes but looks good, so far. Sadly I think the usb port is on the way out, so might be forced to upgrade soon. Would be a shame, otherwise there's nothing wrong with the device.

Having issues charging? Mine was struggling and got it cleaned at iSmash - good as new.

I'm not sure if cleaning would help, it's very loose. It's almost self ejecting the cable. :cry:

How did they clean it? Isoprypal alcohol? I can still get it to charge, but it takes a few attempts as the cable just doesn't want to stay in place.

Oh yeah that sounds more of an issue then. I didn't see but assumed they went with something like that and perhaps electric air blower/compressed air. This and the rare instance of getting water in there is why I like having wireless as a backup.

Think I read the S26U might finally jump up to 65W and 25W for wire/wireless.

Anyone know how to get rid of the search engine selector popup? It's asking to login to secure folder with a pattern I haven't logged into anything with a pattern for over 5 years, wtf is this ? :)
 
Noticed the adessive holding the back of the phone on is starting give way, there's a credit card sized gap now on both sides.

Samsung build quality 4TW! :D

Any recommendations for screen protectors? Went through a few to find ones I liked (the one with the UV lamp) but then they started being bad - would be fine for a few days and then start peeling.

I just got some good but cheaper ones but it feels so cheap and does not play well with a tight case.
 
My phone now connects to WiFi 6E in most places in the house rather than once in a while when in front of the WiFi 7 AP. I'll take that.

Edit - feels refreshed using it. I'm gonna assume my battery will drain even faster....
