This is going to make the headlines on Sunday and it'll be all over social media too. Great times we live in.
Sod that, I can't think of a more terrifying sound. We get a weekly test in Newton Aycliffe, 1045 every Thursday. ItsÁ due to the INEOS chemical plant in the industrial estate. Its more to warn workers and the housing estates in the immediate vicinity. I'm on the other side of town, in the event of an actual emergency its just a keep the windows shut kinda situation where I am.
Hopefully my phone gets this next one, didnt work for me last time!
I agree, but I think most people will just naturally leave their phones switched on anyway. Actual emergencies and all that (no, not this alert).I don't see why people have to be connected 24/7. I am sure as a wedding guest it would be polite to turn it off for a day and make conversation with fellow guests.

Many people are literally addicted to their phones, or more precisely social media. They cant put their phones down for 5 minutes let alone an entire day.I don't see why people have to be connected 24/7. I have no issues not using my phone in certain situations like that. But as for switching it off, that's not possible for me these days as I have a lot of smart devices that track my phone, like my eufy CCTV, my tado central heating, hue lights, etc. So if these lost communication with my phone, any automations I have set that are based on my location would be screwed.I don't see why people have to be connected 24/7. It's one of my biggest pet peeves of today. I have a couple family members that are precisely like this. I'd be having a conversation with them in-person, but during the conversation, they'd pick up their phone to reply to that text that's just come in or go on social media or whatever it is they do on there, and I'm still trying to talk to them while they're not even paying attention anymore. Basically talking to a brick wall at that point. It's just downright rude honestly. Many people are literally addicted to their phones, or more precisely social media. It's quite funny that all the memorable bits of weddings you remember are the things that were bad.
That'll need doing again soonI've reset the poll.

Antisocial media is the pariah of modern society. In fact it's not even society anymore. Many people are literally addicted to their phones, or more precisely social media. They cant put their phones down for 5 minutes let alone an entire day.
NFL fantasy football, Sunday is the biggest day!!I don't see why people have to be connected 24/7. I am sure as a wedding guest it would be polite to turn it off for a day and make conversation with fellow guests.
