It's too hot :(

It's been ridiculously wet since I came back from Yorkshire with some intense cloud burst type rain , weekend looking promising though

Yeah had rain at some point every day for last week. Garden needed it. Front lawn was on deaths-doorstep. It has already almost fully recovered.

I got a bit wet this morning on the bike

Its supposed to be thunder at mid day, and hopefully no rain for the ride back after work

For the first time in years the forecast was correct and it was torrential rain and brief thunder and lightning here for about 45 mins. The garden/weeds will be happy but I still need to bucket wash the van (desperately now, as it is going back on Monday, a few weeks sooner than expected).

It's still humid can't wait to feel the last of it can't be long now, at least the fan is effective compared to during the heat wave
You still have a fan working?!

I have both my heated blanket and heat pad on and all my windows closed now and can feel the heavy weight of autumn depression getting stronger and more debilitating day by day.

Fan isn't at it's fastest just a nice cool breeze Thermometer is showing room temp at 24c that's with the windows open the TV acts like a heater according to the forecast it's 18c outside

I'd be interested what the room temp is for you to have heated blanket and heat pad on and windows closed

Past week I've had the best sleeps in awhile

Not sure what room temp will take to start closing or slightly leaving the windows open without any extra heating, the TV is usually enough over the winter and under a blanket

Finally had enough rain to fill up the 9 water butt's -First time since added the new ones in early summer.
Probable won't need them now.
Always the way.

Well its fun right now its flip flopping between full on autumn and summer rain wind and gales yesterday today the sun's out and v. warm again. Its been consistently warm to very warm this summer temps havn't dropped below 18c for the last couple of months give or take the odd day and a northerly wind. Definitely the hottest I've ever known it not the highest peaks ever seen but for higher than average temperature over a given time its the warmest, period.

New build home, even with the grey wet weather the house is like a furnace!
Its been too hot indoors fan has only just been turned off the last day or two. Our housing just isn't built to cope with these temperatures the care home my mothers in is a new build and its got air con built in as standard and its always comfortable in there thats the future but the expense of retrofitting our ancient housing stock is going to be immense it ought to be standard fitting on new builds now but as usual we're well behind the times

I dont know what my room temp is but I do prefer to wear as little clothing as possible.

It's a wearing clothes texture thing.

It's certainly very pleasant for sept but I am needing my autumn jacket now to be outside.

Also 1 broken fan.. this past summer has crippled mine - hopefully wont now need to invest in an other until next year..
