Not sure where I have defended YouTube, I’ve merely pointed out that the terms are extremely clear on what constitutes an ‘family’.

You are delusional if you think YouTube wouldn’t clamp down on 6 randoms from the internet coming together to make a family plan.

if you want to ‘stick it to the man’ stop watching YouTube, delete your Google account and move to bing search (lol).

Even watching YouTube with a hacked app or ad block brings benefits to YouTube - it boosts their numbers and reinforces the point they are the only relevant platform.

Guess Youtube can say families must reside in same Country otherwise they'll kick them out.

Go5050 is dead for YouTube. When things go wrong there’s zero communication aside from one community email every few weeks at best. One I posted on this forum. Any promise of crediting peoples accounts hasn’t materialised and any and all attempts to contact either Family Group members or Go5050 directly is much the same. So yeah I’m out. Will hold back paying.

I actually don’t mind the adverts, but really miss downloading for later viewing. Was super convenient.
