Pimax Crystal Super

So light didn't resolve issue, that's the bad news...


Good news, I raised a support ticket with pimax.

In less than 24 hours I received two emails, first was pointing me to piplay 1.42.1 this has been great for controller tracking but headset was still intermittently not moving with my head, the second was four files one already existed but should be overwritten in the runtime directory the other three appear to be new.

Tracking has been flawless since I did this, happy to share the email if anyone interested.

Glad you are enjoying your new headset. Now you can finally get rid of that POS Quest Pro. :p
 
My head strap fell apart today and ripped the left speaker wire out of the connector as it fell apart! luckily I found the screw and reconnected the wire and screwed it all back together again and all seems ok if it comes out again I’ll be supergluing the screw in there doesn’t bode well for longevity though :rolleyes:
 
yeah was just adjusting it on my face for comfort then "CRACK" and it fell off my face :eek:

luckily nothing broke and i was able to find the screw and screw it back together

:eek: jesus, just as well the headphone plug came out, my pcl came with one disconnected
 
yes i was worried the sound wouldn't work after i finally found the screw! it took a few hours of searching amongst my sim rig i have created a ticket just in case it is actually damaged though? i'll see how that goes
 
so an update on the broken headband, it works fine but the screw keeps working it's way loose so i have to nip it up every day which is a pain! I would put some threadlock on it but it'd void the warranty probably :rolleyes:

Pimax want me to send it back b4 they'll send out a replacement, I have asked for them to send one out first then I'll send it back (waiting for a response) as I'm not spending £1500 to be without it again for god knows how long!

EDIT: Pimax are sending me a new headstrap i dont have to return the faulty one! happy days
