I'm locked at 30fps in the demo with V-sync on.

Thats an odd one, wonder why, I was locked at 60 with V-sync onI'm locked at 30fps in the demo with V-sync on.![]()
Does it actually give you the next tiers of buildings etc though, or does it just give you "unlimited" time but you just get like 1000 hours of the basic buildingsWorks a treat! The only issue was I was enjoying it so much, I forgot you can't save in the demo!

Are you sure?Yes, you get new tiers and buildings![]()
Yeah the devs said that the demo is from June so an old build, they also said that game balance in the demo is all out of whack because the balance and speeds of things have been altered to take into account a 1 hour play time so the balance is not reflective of the balance of the full game. Are you sure?
I saw one of the devs mention on Reddit that this is a build from a couple of months ago, so a few bugs etc that are in the demo have been fixed in the current code.
Not so much the new normal in this particular case, the previous Anno game was also £50 and that was 6 years agoI'm looking forward to this, and maybe I'm out of touch.. But £50.. Maybe this is the new normal..

For Anno 1800 (bearing in mind it wasn't on Steam originally) I wound up buying things via Epic and Ubisoft store directly when they had deals on - both of them at various times did deals where you'd get £10 off on top of sale prices, which made the game and DLC far more palatable even close to release dates.I'm looking forward to this, and maybe I'm out of touch.. Not sure whether we'll see those kinds of deals again, but if the cost is offputting I expect provided you're flexible about where you buy it from the price will become more competitive.
As excited as I am about it, I'm not sure I'll shell out £50 either.
