BMW and M Power Owners

It's heavy too, 2.3T of fun with a 108Kw battery - not exactly the proverbial A8/A2;
you can put up with stellar looks if their are handling compensations (what classic heavyweight cars are there other than RR)

Exactly - the comments get boring!

Most cars : "The design is dull"
A new design is shown: "It's an assault on my eyes"

Basically, any new design will take time to absorb, there is no need to act like a child when you see it
Car design is totally subjective anyway, some will like it and some won't. If you don't like it then don't buy it. Those that do buy it don't' care what the other side thinks

Simple :)
Not really. You have Chinese manufacturers making better looking cars. It’s not just limited to Chinese cars either, there are many others, German included, which have designs which are much easier to like.

These are the fresh readouts .. testing out the app

I had previously cleared all and this has come back

So here is a list of codes that I have and the app is stating car very bad

Some concerning ones are a couple of electrical ones like sek battery undervoltage,
Lbs wake up implausible
Terminal 15 off via timeout

But also something that looks to do with front or rear suspension or shock ..wondering if this is why I was getting the vibrations and knocking at higher speed

Slip angle estimator - internal degradation due to sbs

Imgbb viewer links for codes that came out

Going to see what they say on the bimmer forums

Surely I should get the undervoltage issue sorted with the mild hybrid 12v battery system

It's a BMW 420d F32 coupe 2018 plate with a B47 engine LCI..

I know what mild hybrid is uses a 12v battery to take some load away from the engine

2018? Isn’t that the year which had engine problems?
Not that i recall ? What engine problems?

Looking through my docs there are was an EGR cooler Warrenty fix done on it

The print from BMW states replacing egr cooler (high temp).

That was done in 2023 before I owned the car.

I have seen a few people comment online stating they had their IBS changed by dealer. Which could reference the undervoltage code

your b47 does not have the mild hybrid system
the 12v battery is just the low voltage battery for the starter motor and system

the b47 with mild hybrid tech was used from 2020 onwards
the MHT uses a 48v system

Looking on Google I should get it it checked out as a lot of people have had the IBS replaced so it seems.

Symptoms could lead to not starting

I don't think you do because that car is not a mild hybrid.

The first 4 Series with mild hybrid technology didn't appear until 2020. The BMW mild hybrid system uses a 48v battery in addition to the standard 12v battery.

Yeh I'm just reading up more on it . I have the system when if you break it generates elec. I know this a I can see it happening on the idrive display. But still .looking at the internet there are cases where they have had bits of the system replaced by dealer as it could cause issues later down the line

You almost certainly had it on your 120d as well, it appeared around 2008.

Perhaps start your own thread?
Yeah to be honest no one here is able to help with such ‘problems’. Try bmw specific places.

Plus Carly isn’t that good. I had stuff appearing saying wrong wheel sensors etc and ISTA didn’t have the same results on my E series. Don’t think ista works on yours ?

Any sensors flagging something won’t be a problem enough alone as they rely on others. But just replace them for your OCD.
