Let’s celebrate with a Big Mac!Thought I would share an achievement in my life, not had a maccies in over 2 years today...yes I tracked it![]()
And many rewards now cost more points!Double quarter cheese reward has gone from the app now. What a joke :/
Yes the good old days... The prices are insane now.I remeber the days (probably sometime last year or maybe before the inflation rubbish, they used to do the reciept vouchers so you could go in buy a cheapo burger. get a reciept
then you could use the code on the voucher to obtain a big mc and fries for £1.99. And get another reciept or use the same screenshot on your phone and go round again .
(IE you could get 2 big mac and 2 fries for 2 x £1.99 ( total £3.98)
those days are gone.
I dont think they do it anymore, and now a big mac and medium fries will cost you about £7.90 or something.
Bun definitely needs to be bigger, I thought the sauce was a bit mustardy and seemed off. Swap that sauce for big mac sauce and that would be a decent burger.Tried a Big Arch, it was minging. Fell apart, odd tangy sauce, barely taste anything other than the weird sauce. Would not recommend.
Certainly in the U.K., the bun was always about the same size as the meat.
It’s usually 1/3 a pound so slightly larger than a 1/4 pounder.
This is going to sound like one of those "back in my day" things, but it seems a lot smaller than it used to.
The one on the right isn't a big mac. No centre bun piece and only a single beef patty.
Where did they find the one from the 1980s to compare?
