Just wondering if there is a resolution to the black screen (both recoverable and non recoverable) issue?

I've done the usual - BIOS update & refresh, drivers, underclocked RAM, SFC etc.

Doesn't happen when I put my 4060 back in.

Win 11 Pro

Not seen any black screen issues this side, is it after a specific process ?

Not really.

Could be happily editing a spreadsheet, watching youtube or gaming.

Audio stalls and microloops then black screen.

Sometimes can be recovered with Ctrl+Alt+win+b others need a reset.

Temps are all normal.

I'm using an older type PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus 750w 80 Plus Gold Modular, which I purchased a little over 6 years ago.
I assume that the latest cards from AMD do not require fancy/additional power connectors?
Do you think my middle-aged PSU will be up to the challenge?

I have an EVGA gold 650w with a 9700 XT Pulse, 7800X3D, 32GB of DDR5 6000 and 2x M2 NVME drives.

Not one single issue even at stock voltage.

Any of you guys who have a 9070 XT Reaper still happy with it? I see OcUK has price dropped it quite nicely at the moment.

A gaming mate of mine switched from an Nvidia 30 series to one, he's had it since they came out, its been perfect for him, he's happy with it.

I was thinking of doing another run like above which was on 25.8.1 with the new drivers but I noticed that the VRAM was being downclocked by 41Mhz is this a sign that its being error corrected? I had a crash when upping to 2900MHz from 2880MHz which this run was based on.

That’s a bit high. Mine topped out at 2800.

I finally made the jump from a Gaming X Trio 6750 to an XT White Spectral Edition card along with an Edge 1000w psu and I was wondering if anyone has seen the bios update that Kitguru mentions in there Red Devil article?

I haven't been able to find the update on the Powercolor website.
