Your setup looks very good. The Atacama gear is very well made and will last you many years.

As mentioned I have 2 x 4 shelf Eris2's the bottom 3 shelves are the SE version top shelf is the Eco version as this was only version still made when I ordered the extra shelves. My racks are in an adjacent dining room as it keeps vibration down on them.

What did you think of the atabite filler?

Yea, very good. The speaker stands are about 2/3rds full and weigh a ton with them in! No matter how careful you are though, you'll be seeing little glints of atabite on the carpet for months after :D

I've also got those IsoAcoustics Orea isolation feet under the main components (amp / streamer) and I don't know what pixie dust is in those, but if you've not tried them, they really made a difference too - even on that AV rack, which is pretty solid in itself.

As my room is a garage conversion, it's got a wooden floating floor hence the front speakers and subs are on about 2" slate blocks to isolate them from it, which works really well.

Been trying to find a vinyl storage solution that looks decent and will expand. Got this steel bench frame, finally found one the right size, and fits these Music Box Designs crates that I've been accumulating. Going to get another row of 4 and put them facing out, with top row facing up.

Bonus buns. Yes there's a reason why all my furniture is metal or hardwood :P

I like that but wifey wouldn't

A long time ago I had a pair of Leak 600 speakers, they were quite big and one day one of them died. My wife agreed that we need a replacement but she was thinking along the lines of matchbox sized things so we disagreed on that point. I ended up with a pair of Musical Fidelity MC1s. Nice speakers but I am thinking of going to Richer Sounds and comparing some new ones.

There's been a few decent deals knocking around for Wharfedale Evo 4.2's lately if you're wanting another set of bookshelves, I'm looking to match them with the 4.4 floor standers for an AVR setup and personally really like the sound.

Obviously tastes can vary massively so they might not be your cup of tea, they can be a little warm which I know puts some off.

Get the large center whilst you can, the new version of the range lacks the bigger one

Never heard of the MC1s.
I owned a pair of MC4s back in the day. They weren’t what you’d call WAF, but I thought they sounded great.

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but how can a sub be too big to fit in a photo?

He's a long timer in this section with a special interest in subwoofers, he has thousands of pounds worth of home theatre audio equipment apparently but has never evidenced this. A mythical 9.3.4 system.

Yup, he’s also got a mythical motorcycle that he flat out refuses to show a photo of.

;-)

Also probably recommend a audio streamer, unless you're using the one in the Denon - having TV on seems a bit much?

Correction it's a 9.3.4 AV pre power system :p
Just a lot of jealous and poor people here, not allowed a audio system. Quite sad really.
Quite sad to brag about something so much on the internet, but not actually post pictures, especially in thread where posting pictures is essentially the requirement.

Nice woodchip wallpaper btw
