Not sure if this is the right place, but Charlie Kirk has been shot, and looking at the footage (which I won’t post) it’s not at all looking good.
I don’t think it takes a lot of imagination to guess the reasoning and the mindset of the person behind it.
Big fan of his and hopefully he’ll pull through (although it’ll be a miracle).

I hope he pulls through but not sure how anyone could be an actual fan.

Genuine question, what do you think it was? I'm going to guess what you mean and say that the guy who tried to shoot Trump was a republican, in fact they're significantly more likely to commit acts of violence so at this point any guesses as to motivations are purely that.

Regardless what anyone thinks of Kirk, this is absolutely unnecessary and frankly disgusting to do to him in a public space with others around.

Oh you don't like how he challenges people or your views? Grow up or educate yourself to challenge back.

If your a fan of his or not, he has an opinion which is allowed, to try to execute him like this shows the perp is weak minded, weak and has no ability to educate, challenge or even fight.

I've seen videos which I don't agree with his views, but also seen videos where he cleverly dismantles peoples contradictory views. Nothing wrong with that.

Public executions because you disagree with his words? That should be the death penalty for the shooter.

The footage is quite grisly, but he received medical attention very promptly, so he should be OK.
 
Mod warning, if this steers too much into politics the thread will get locked / moved to SC.

On a personal note, echoing the other thoughts that whatever someones agenda or views they don't deserve something like this.

aah yes that well defined demographic.

As for the post above, not shedding a tear when someone dies is not celebrating, deranged or sickening. Any action no matter how reprehensible will create acutal celebratory responses from random people online or some reddit post etc and I can probably very easily find posts when Melissa Hortman and her husband were killed but I won't because it doesn't help. What WOULD help is gun control but the US is literally fighting against that with the lives of it's citizens including children.

Never heard of the guy, but then I actively avoid all this political tripe. I know not one person who follows this stuff and is happy.

That said I saw the footage, and he'll need one hell of a miracle to survive.
