Will anyone actually get punished?
Will anyone actually get punished?
See you in 2033 for the conclusion to this oneHopefully points deduction’s and relegation follows
Unless they get wind of a mega points deduction or relegation incoming and then they mightThis shouldn't be as drawn out as the City case, they're not likely to try to frustrate the process as City did.
As I said Chelsea have admitted to these charges (or at least a lot of them) and all they can do now is try to minimise the punishment they receive. By trying to obstruct the process and draw it out they'll only lose any potential mitigation they'll be given, making any punishment more severe.Unless they get wind of a mega points deduction or relegation incoming and then they might
What is the punishment for those sort of charges, wasn’t some of city’s charges related to dodgy payments to agents/players/managers to circumvent ffpAs I said Chelsea have admitted to these charges (or at least a lot of them) and all they can do now is try to minimise the punishment they receive. It's interesting that this is a FA charge, not a PL one and it's possible that they've got a PL charge to come too.
Yea, some of City's charges are similar in relation to making payments off the books. As for what the punishment could be, who knows. We know they agreed a settlement with UEFA and were fined for £9m(?) and there were reports from months ago that Chelsea hoped to reach a deal with the PL for a fine too. I'm not sure how likely that is given the outcome of Everton & Forest's PSR cases - remembering that the disciplinary panel determined that if a side gained a sporting advantage then the only suitable punishment was a points deduction. But as above, these charges are from the FA not the PL.What is the punishment for those sort of charges, wasn’t some of city’s charges related to dodgy payments to agents/players/managers to circumvent ffp
Ultimately I'd be surprised if Chelsea don't receive a points deduction, whether that's a result of these charges or the PL charges that are to come.
Call me shockedread yesterday from one of the chelsea mouthpieces they expect a fine and nothing more
The vast majority of transfers (in the uk) are paid in instalmentsReading today that Isak’s record transfer free will be paid across three years, not a lump sum.
Can anyone explain to me what that means for PSR for both clubs?
Does it mean Newcastle have less to spend as their income per year is reduced? Equally, does it mean Liverpool could technically spend more in each of those years because their outgoings on Isak is split into 3rds?
Or will it not work like that and it’s calculated in some other way?
