Oooh thank you!
It says it has a US plug and not to plug in directly to a 240v socket. Do you know if it needs a step-down converter?

Awesome thank you! Now I need to see if I can find a decently priced solder iron and get practicing!
Get yourself some good solder too. Vince uses this one (amongst others)…You are right! Thank you. Let's get learning to not burn my fingers!
@Vince looking at getting my boy a 3ds to play while in queues at theme parks (smaller and more robust than a switch or his tablet)
The consoles are getting on a bit now, so just wondering if there is anything I should look out for or recommend a decent place to get it from? I've seen some jap imports that seem to be better condition than most UK ones, but will I run into issues running games?
Doesn't show all capacitors being replaced, but just the clock capacitor, and there is also a link in the description to confirm the revision.
**Edit**Clock Capacitor
The clock capacitor is a small supercap which allows the Xbox to keep track of time for up to about three hours after losing mains power. The black caps found within 1.0-1.4 models (plus their debug counterparts) are of low quality and prone to leaking a strongly basic (alkaline) fluid. While...consolemods.org

Capacitor Replacement
Between 1999 and 2007 a miscopied formula of capacitor electrolytes caused a 'higher-than-expected' failure rates in what's now known as the 'capacitor plague'. I have 3 official Xbox controllers suffering from drift, as well as a 3rd party one. I also have two Venom charging stations that no longer work... Any chance you'd be able to have a look at these for me please?
I've also got two DS4s that I no longer need (feel free to keep them). I don't think they have drift, but they may have charging issues (I genuinely don't remember).
@Vince Hey pal, forgot to reach back out to you as I've got a lot of stuff going on this year but I was wondering if you'd be able to sort my elite series 2 pad out? It's been quite a while since I used it as it developed buttons needing a double press register. I believe it was the should buttons now. Any other improvements that could be done would be great, would be more than happy to pay for your time.
Good to have you back mate, hope all's wellSorry lads been away for a while and dealing with some family things but I'm back so I'll have a read back and catch up.

Nice purple dualsense edge, is that a custom shell?
