Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (2024)

Achievement for all the notes & photos is bugged  common issue...they hid some new unlisted stuff in the main game in the Vatican level.......lots of stuff does not register properly. Until they fix that do not be like me waste a good few hours mopping up

Those bugs really took some of the fun out of the game ... and subsequent patches didn't fix the problem. Until they do that the DLC is a pass from me.

I got some free PC gamepass with my legion go so played the base game on my PC, and I just wanted to play through for the story and main quests and really enjoyed it, one of the few games I continued to play until the end. Great story, graphics and atmosphere. Better than the last Indy film as well I think :D

I played through the DLC over the weekend and was done in under 4 hours without a guide. If you don't already own it via the deluxe edition, don't go spending money on it. It's not just length that's the issue, but there's also a quality problem.

The DLC condenses the weakest bits of the base game. There's lots of tedious ledge-jumping in underground tombs (including a couple of badly signposted bits where I was left wandering around trying to spot the next interaction prompt). The boring boat stuff makes a return. Some of the puzzles are ok, but the hardest of them is essentially a battle with the UI while under time pressure. There's no real "immersive sim" stuff and there are no big action set-pieces.

The new Nvidia hair is very pretty, though.

Finally completed the main campaign last night after previously getting frustrated by it.

You play the whole game without much in the way of combat yet the boss fight is all combat. Interesting choice by the developers.

Now just need to go back and find any missing relics etc and then I start the DLC.

This game looks so good visually,

Is there any deals to be had on it? Cant seem to find it any cheaper than Steam, But £60 for the base game with no dlc is a bit off putting!
Of course it is listed in "Other" places legitimately but then says non redeemable in the United Kingdom

I guess its going to be one of those "Wait for Winter sales"!

The autumn steam sale is on the 29th September, may be a discount, currently cheapest is loaded (CdKeys)

Found my own fix for it have all achievements now! The thing you have to do is revisit a room in the Vatican level (near some scaffolding you climb up) several times until it shows the missing notes plus take a photo of the plaza! none of this is on the map BTW and the count for notes is wrong it ways you need 60 notes you actually need 61! I have 58/60 but all achievements now!

Gamepass tells me I spent about 82.9 hours  in all getting all achievements takes ages to get some of those hard to find notes & artifacts! I did not like the DLC much its so buggy some of those puzzles are so awkward to do.....!

Buy game pass for a month. Works out much cheaper.

That method doesn't always work, unfortunately.

Now that I've finished Doom this is next on the playlist. After the difficulty I had with HDR in that game, this will be a nice relief. Having already played the intro the HDR looks great (I think I mentioned this on a previous post, but worth reiterating).

GamingTech is great, good tips!

You have to revisit that location several times the little room after the scaffold climb...then eventually the missing notes just magically appear! Also in the base game some new items appear but are not obvious as the map is glitchy keeping travelling to & from Rome & The Vatican eventually they appeared for me after I had given up all hope of getting 100%

Just finished the DLC and wasn't blown away by it.

Felt like it was rushed through the door to get sales on the back of the pretty good main game.
