Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [13th - 14th September 2025]

Casemiro has gloves on. In September.
Without saying we deserve anything from this match. We don't seem to have much luck in the opponents penalty area.
I think at some point it goes beyond luck.

"The harder I work the luckier I get"

The issue is perhaps the team/squad/manager/owners are working their hardest and this is the best we'll get?

I can’t wait to have a game where I don’t have to listen to Peter Drury reading his little book of pre-prepared statements. Absolute verbal diarrhoea.

What month do we think he’s going to get the boot? Mid November is my guess.

Chelsea next week, which will probably be similar to this game.

Might be lucky and get a draw vs Brentford.

He'll save his job against Sunderland before the next int'l break.

Then we'll get battered by Liverpool and lose to Brighton. If he doesn't go then, we've got Forest and then Spurs...

Dark times! But you have to find the amusement in it. :D

Utd spend like a gambling addict, next 100m will fix it all…then another 300m then another manager and repeat…

Then relegation and maybe they will do 60m only ha

Amorim has to go. Writing is on the wall. Pointless delaying it any further.

Let's not forget that City are quite poor at the moment and we have made them look fantastic.

Yeah - I said before international break - we'd loose to City and Chelsea and he'd be under serious pressure.

His steadfast refusal to change formation will be his downfall.... City just packed the midfield and United had no answer to it.

And we are weak in midfield, but keep going 2v3 in every game. It's absolutely insane.

There's more to all this than formation, but it's an obvious issue now.

Should have got Ange when they had the chance.

God no! We'd need someone who is tactically excellent and can stabilise things. I think you can put out a balanced team with these players, but Amorim isn't able to do it.

He won't be going anywhere for now so we'll see in a few weeks (most likely).

Glasner? Iraola?

Doubt they'd want to join mid-season.
