Haha was saying this to my son last night who loves survival games.
 
I also was trying to clear an area before proceeding to the next but the Ubisoft like open world checklist got boring fast. I think I'll stick to main story and a few side quests.
 
Just encountered an annoying bug ; game crashed twice in quick succession and has now rendered it impossible for me to complete one of the side mission chains ( Topper ). The NPCs are "stuck" and won't initiate their dialogue to finish the mission and give me my reward. I tried replaying the first mission in the sequence but it doesn't reset the status of this bugged one. Annoying.

Anyone at endgame yet?
Im late to the party so only lvl 18 at moment but loving it.

Id love if it had a destiny like endgame, maybe not dungeons or raids but the open world stuff clearing POI`s and various checklists would be cool longterm.

Nope, I'm going to put it on the backburner until there are some more patches to address the various technical issues. The more I play, the more crashes I'm experiencing and now missions are bugging out.
 
I'm around lvl 20 at the moment, will be a long time before I reach end game though, partly because we are trying to 100% each area before moving to the next area and partly because Dying Light The Beast comes out tomorrow so we will be splitting our co-op time between Borderlands 4 and Dying Light Beast.

They did optimisation on the PS5 version because they knew if they didn't people would complain and Randy would jump in twitter and telling them it's their fault for not owning a PS6 xD

Performance isn't great on console, either. There's a memory leak that causes framerates to degrade during extended play, the game apparently upscales from a very, very low resolution and there are extreme framerate drops in the final area.
 
Getting towards the end of the main story now, hit level 30 last night, we're still skipping all the side content to go back and do to get to 50 once stories finished.

Does seem so far that the story bosses have less tactics the further you get in
 
Is there a way to turn off the annoying voices the guns make? It sounds like IAM watching an adult film with all the yes yes more more rubbish.

Guys. I have been playing this. am Level 12 playing as Amon (the big guy) What I dont use is the special powers as dont really understand them and the need for them. He has a firehammer which doesnt do much. Anyone explain this to me am playing on PC and when I press F he does a fire slam but that seens all.
