Some great photos from this video - What a difference it makes being a good photographer! The technology is there to be harnessed though. Impressive stuff.

Apple are both very good at making ARM SOC’s but the secret sauce is the vertical integration between hardware and software.

In essence they can make a chip which is highly optimised for their own software stack.


On the other wise of the dense you have Android which is pretty fragmented between Google, the handset makers and the chip makers (Qualcomm, Mediatek, Samsung, Google etc). You are never going to get something as optimised as Apple.
 
It will have iOS26 on it, but it will likely be a pre-release build and will require an update. That's what's happened with older phones - they've shipped with a slightly older build.

Pointless waste of time, Apple is using the same picture on the boxes. What are they going to do, reprint them all?

I swear people look for things to be offended by these days. If your first thought looking at that picture is it is taking the p out of your penis there is something seriously wrong with you.
 
All DPD here as well. I reckon my deliveries will arrive tomorrow evening but hopefully they will be sooner.

Ironically I'm a photo professional but the 17pro doesn't interest me, too thick tbh, nice cameras sure but im always carrying a high end proper camera so not so much of an issue really, my Sony a92 or Fuji X100VI destroys any phone.

Anyone who got the AIR got any info? Curious as to why go for it - it still half appeals in some ways with the size and ram on board.
 
DHL do still give hourly time slots. Last few DHL parcels I've had were put out for delivery between 10-11 and then that's where I got notified of it. I'd imagine the parcels will go out for delivery earlier tomorrow but then it was probably just late in my area because everything always is for me.
