When I worked Saturday overtime in a factory half a century ago ( ), I used to love getting a Georgie Best from the local cafe, Bacon, Egg, Sausage and Tomato, with lashings of butter wrapped in two very thick slices of white bread.
1) Katsouris' pastrami from Bury Market, rye bread, sauerkraut, French's yellow mustard.
2) Bacon, sausage, egg on white (fry the bread in the pan grease on one side) with Colman's English mustard.
That's like having to choose your favourite child!
Have been experimenting with tuna "mayo". Currently on:
Tin of tuna (in water), drained
1/4 tin sweetcorn
1/4 finely chopped red onion
5 jalapeno slices (finely chopped)
3 dessert spoons of natural greek yoghurt (more or less depending on how wet/dry it is)
The greek yoghurt is on another planet to mayo health wise!
This mix goes very nicely on a jacket potato or on a brioche hotdog roll!
BLT by far. its just a magical combo. heavily peppered mayo, a neutral lettuce and ripe tomato, bacon done well with a decent amount of fat content. sublime.

Mine is the chicken escalope with mayo, pepper and lettuce in a soft white bap from Munchies on Marshalsea Road in Southwark. Used to have at least one a week when I worked around the corner.
When I worked in Belgravia, there was a sandwich shop that did a Belgravia melt. Toasted ciabatta, chicken escalope, streaky bacon, cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomato slices, mustard and mayo. It was epic.
