been waiting for these to be released since March when the prototype announced. Went for millways which I ended up removing after Spa due to noise. These are one piece and much bigger bearing. Think one of the first to be sold from Suspension secrets e92 top mounts. They also provide the alignment setting based on the car info. More caster than stock too. E92 m3

Does anyone here have an M240i of the last gen? Thinking about a change and 85% of the time it’s just me or me and my laddie in the car these days. I can’t completely lose the back seats, but one of these is tempting.

You could, but do you want to pay the upkeep costs which will be astronomical compared to the 240i (and your current 428i)

That is a great concern and why the M240i appeals.

There's nothing astronomical about it at all. Servicing is only slightly more as it is just an N55 engine. Brakes etc can be bought inexpensively outside the dealer network.
Of course if you want to have BMW warranty it's more expensive but they are of an age where that is rare now. Only additional piece of servicing required is a diff oil change on occasion.

Brakes are more expensive, and the diff needs servicing on the M2, but the 240i still has 6 spark plugs, etc. It's not like you're moving to an M8 Competition or V12 7 Series..

Do itttttt. Honestly, work out the price difference in terms of servicing, insurance, etc. and see if it makes sense. It's a totally different car but is fantastic. Yolo and whatnot.

M140i to M3 (F80), didn't really notice any difference in running costs except fuel and insured warranty.

My G87 M2 is nearly as economical as my M140i was, insane economy for near 500 bhp.

Insurance typically less in my experience when I ran quote - maybe as there are less innit boys driving them, less of them about, and less crashed?

My car is going in to BMW to have some codes read tomorrow I selected "no" for the complimentary car wash, as i have not done a proper outside detail on it in about 4 months, but it has some dirt on the car, I dont want them getting there mits and rubbing it in I bet they still do it though...

2021 420i and just got a notification that I have a software udpate available.

The version number is 03/2033.567. cant find anything with that version number online, anyone else had a recent update?
