You could just get 1 month of EA Pro, which I think is about £15. Should be plenty of time to play through the single player campaign.

That's what I'll be doing, just pay 15 to play SP and maybe couple hours of MP then uninstall
According to a youtuber called "bigfrytv" the campaign so far (3 missions in) feels rough and unpolished with bad animations among other things. 2 missions were mediocre and 1 was "ok". Can't link to the vid due to swearies but not hard to find

Looks exactly like the mid 2010s COD campaigns with the constant scrumming forward and barrage of enemy popping up, with no real consequences, mind you BF4's campaign was a bit like that as well.

Maybe Bad Company 2 is the exception, or atleast so I'm told, never played the SP on that but the SP on all BF games with it has been poor at best. Only reason to play was for the weapon unlock to use in MP. Personally would prefer if they did away with the SP and made more MP maps instead like 1942, BF2 and Vietnam. But I guess EA will probably have accounted the lack on SP in 2042 partially towards how it's lack of success.

Think ea are going strong with the portal thing so I wouldn’t be surprised if all the old maps will be in bf6 at one time or another.

It's all about mp bro. Bf 1942 and bf2 never had sp mode.
No one cares about sp mode lol. Play cp77 for a proper engaging fps sp game

I know a lot of people won't play Battlefield 6 for the campaign, but it looks like it needs a lot of work. It probably makes what would be a high 80s/low 90s Metacritic game a mid-70s at the moment.

No idea though I would assume that the "Phantom Pack" won't be obtainable, at least not to begin with.
Based on beta I'm most likely going to buy it, spent way longer then I expected in beta even after unlocking all the rewards, just not sure on if I should buy regular edition or phantom, I like the look of the cosmetics but £30 extra just seems excessive

I could care less about the cosmetics and i dont see why i would want to pay for XP boosts / skips so standard edition for me. Ready for the preload on Oct 3rd
