No it is not for the camera, I use my phone for videography and photography too, as a "phone" yes, but as a camera device no, the 25U produces better dynamic range in photos and better videos.

Do you shoot in LOG much or use non native app(s) for video for that matter? Former is one feature missing from my S23U.
 
I do record i log sometimes but not always, Samsung provides a LUT for davinci resolve as well which works well enough but for the most part I just use manually control in th default camera app or use Blackmagic Camera as the bitrate is much higher still.
 
Considering an S25+ upgrade from my current S10. Main uses are browsing, music, camera and android auto nav. Went and saw some in the flesh today and think the screen will suffice. Anyone have any wisdom for me please?

Its fine, if you want something lighter with better cameras get the Edge (at the cost of lower battery life)

Cheers for the heads up, I didn't get a notification on my s25 that the update was out but a manual check picked it up.
 
Chaps, Ive been in the Apple ecosystem for 10 years now. Currently using the 15. I’m wanting to change it up and get the S25 Ultra, is it worth changing now or waiting until the new year now for the S26?

I would wait unless you find a deal that has a significant discount.

If paying full price might aswell get one on release.

The S24 Ultra might be better deal, basically the same phone and a lot cheaper, alternately I'd wait

Black friday should have some decent deals. And certainly a big no to paying rrp on a phone... Ever.

Not from a content creator point of view, S25 records better video and has better dynamic range photos.
