The weather has affected the garden in ways I’ve not seen before. The acorns are massive and keep hammering the house everytime they fall. Then this Yucca has flowered outside like I’ve never seen before:

I understand it's a mast year, basically there's a glut of acorns so they can't all be eaten.. fascinating!

There's an oak tree round the corner from us and not only has it produced an ridiculous amount of acorns they're all absolutely huge too.

It’s not just acorns, there a loads of trees which have what I can only describe as tiny apples on them where I live. They all have 3-4 times as many on them and they are making a right old mess because nothing eats them other than insects.

I’ve swept up hundreads off my driveway from my neighbours tree alone and that’s just a few overhanging branches.
