For what it is, Beeline works perfectly. It's the only sat nav I use on my bike.

On the bar mounted display yeah it looks ok, just more on the app side.

I have no problems with it, put where I want to go in the app and follow the arrows on the Beeline. Simples.

I'm confused. You spent months asking about Chinese bikes because they're cheap, then you want to spend £200 on a function that your phone already does for free, which can be done with a £15 handlebar cradle.

Honestly, save that money and put it towards your big boi bike licence.

I'm a big boi riding a big boi bike right now and I'm loving it!

Gloves update: my Oxford Nexus left hand is coming unstitched at the thumb after less than 4 months and 7k miles. Took them back to SBS this morning and they're sending a replacement pair. Easy.

Though I'm going to have a look at the level 2 Five TFX1 or whatever it is that also appeared recently.

This is why Quadlocks exist. I've seen someone have a low side and their phone was still in the Quadlock cradle!

You could get a cheap refurbished android phone off eBay and have it on quadlock. Connect it to Mobile hot-spot of your actual phone and use it as SatNav.

Just remembered I have old huaewi p8 lite phone that would be ideal. What would I need, the universal one?

think my p8 lite has that anti fingerprint glass, the quad lock site says it's not suitable.

Check the phones in below list at Curry's Clearance eBay store. Hopefully one of these should be compatible with the Quadlock. I have capped the price at £100 in the filter.

CBT is booked - 17th October for both of us.

Nervous but excited. I did double check with the school if we needed any additional training before hand and they said no, just come for the CBT. As a car driver I find this interesting and daunting at the same time. While i have years of road experience behind my, my daughter is totally fresh to it all, and to think after the CBT is done she can head out on the roads on her own is crazy!

Looking forward to it, any tips are greatly welcomed.
