greedy clowns just killed their own cash cow. announced 1 day before cod beta. who is paying 30 dollars per month lol. cod is only available on ultimate.

EDIT : ah no hang on, looks like if its just PC Game Pass it will still include day ones

Keep forgetting to cancel Game Pass tbh. like Netflix and Prime Video, eventually run out of reasons to keep. That said, with £50-80 games being the norm now, I'm probably buying GTA6 when it comes out in 5 years and that's it

i used to love this arguement every year with getting the new call of duty. well i dont pay for it...hows that work well im on game pass! yeah which you pay for ? yeah but i play loads of other games ! :p

thing is now this will hammer cod especially as lots of people used to get cheap deals like a 1quid first month to try out new cod now its only on ultimate package at 30 dollars a month. no one is going to be paying that. cod was already struggling this is a massive blow to cod and im kinda happy as they been greedy for too long doing the bare minimum and this could actually destroy the franchise. or at very least they will have to make good cods again. so good news tbh. no one is going to pay top prices now for mediocre
 
Since I don't play CoD or Fortnite, dislike Cloud gaming and don't give a stuff about most EA / Ubisoft games ... this just reinforces my belief that Game Pass is not the "best deal in gaming". For me, anyway.
 
Quite a hike but I guess people in suits at HQ have already calculated that more than enough gamers will pay up

They won't give two hoots about losing the deal only players, the point is to make money and if the players have not got addicted, emotionally or socially trapped into staying on gamepass by now, then they're not worth chasing.

Price is up, time to farm the money and see how captive this audience is they've been cultivating.

Absolutely zero chance I'm renewing game pass after my current cheap subscription runs out.

Microsoft following the same old tired playbook (as mentioned in the post above). Get loads of subscribers and then smash the price up to silly levels.

At £23 a month, I'd literally rather just buy the games outright once they've been out a few months and dropped in price.
