I think it's worth the entry price. I haven't racked up as many hours as I did on Civ V, but I'm getting up towards 200 hours. I haven't tried the latest round of changes since this week's patch but they seem well received. I think it's substantially better than Civ VI which was the first Civ I didn't really get on with.

Tbh these days I judge games on the amount of hours of enjoyment I'll get from it. Rather pay £41.99 for something I might get 300 hours out of, than a single player campaign in a game that lasts 8 hours. Each to their own though.

The first truly disappointing Civ game ever. I've played 50 times as much Civ 6 maybe 20 times as much Civ 5 and a little bit more Civ 4 than I have Civ 7 since it's release. I won't give them my trust again, I'll wait for it to be a mature popular release before I buy any subsequent Civ games.
