It's not a Friday midnight launch ?

The BF4 servers were getting massively DDOSed last night to the point the game servers were only updating every 3-5 seconds but it was interesting how the "netcode" was behaving - it seems that the damage you do in a frame and where that damage is being applied has implications for how reliable your damage is communicated - headshots and upper body shots seem to have a higher priority to be sent over the network than lower damage areas which can be discarded if there is any network problems and the server seems to favour whoever does most damage in a frame even if another player could have got a kill with less damage... a long with a lot of other weirdness.
 
These 6 days are going to be long lol never really liked 2042 but have found myself playing every day waiting for bf6, cant wait until the 10th so can finally uninstall 2042.

Just play the class locked modes and make it known that’s what we want? Or aren’t you fussed?

Damn, that's a real shame. I was hoping to jump on and play all day from around 8am once I'd dropped my kid at nursery. 4pm is around the time I'd be picking her up so means there's no point in me taking the day off to play - and I'm not really able to play games at the weekend anymore. Might be a Monday one for me now.
 
I’m off work on 10th but like you will be picking daughter up so unable to play until she’s in bed, what a waste!

Midnight launches were great especially when you had work in the morning but still did a near all nighter regardless :p
 
Hoping this game is great after the insult of BF2042 (hardcore BF3/BF4 player), I think I'll wait for the final reviews before taking the plunge this time. Still proud of my 51 minutes total playtime on BF2042 :)
 
my main complaint about bf2042 is the maps are bad, especially breakthrough, some maps impossible to get past the first objective, others impossible to defend objectives, it leads to mass rage quits etc when one team or the other starts getting spanked, the rest switch to sniping and its game over mannn

as long as they have good maps - HONOUR WILL BE SATISFIED

Has anyone preloaded it who has a Gigabit fibre connection and if so, how long did it take?

I'm on a BT 76mbps connection which I sacked off a week ago. Still got it until the 23rd but looking to get Gigabit fttp. Cheers.
