Call of Duty Black Ops 7

How can it do that, I thought the whole point of TPM and Secureboot, was so apps couldn't sneak in like that? Forgive my ignorance, but I've not really looked into it that much :P
I was really hoping this would **** over cheaters, and then eventually when it becomes the standard, when a game worth playing online comes out, it'll last for years cheat free.
I guess that's never going to happen. It's a shame it cant be locked down like the consoles can be these days (excluding modded consoles obviously)
you cant get rid of cheats. its just how it is. for every way to make something you can break it.

Yeah this is the problem. But for once, I thought that having TPM and secureboot verification linked to the game, meant it would scan the active processes and not allow you to connect to a match/even load the game if it found anything that wasn't authorised? But I guess that can be bypassed :(
It's so lame that these cheats even exist. I really think people that use them are very sad individuals. It annoys me a lot, for obvious reasons, that it spoils the beauty of worldwide online MP.

This looks utter garbage IMO, happy to give BF6 my money this year after how well the beta played.

Hopefully the player count will be a lot lower with the BF6 hype and they'll be forced to stop with this minimal effort rinse and repeat and actually develop something interesting for next year :)

We need another MW!

60 percent aim assist in cod on controller. looking at the beta for sunday 58000 people playing on steam for pc. 2 years ago nearly 500000. lost 90 percent of the pc player base in two years ! battlefield 6 is the top selling game on steam. cod is screwed.

Just played it for about 90 mins there and its not a bad game if you like COD.
Im well past it in more ways than one lets just say :P

I knew it wouldnt be for me but when you can download the 140GB installation in 15 minutes why not.
Uninstalled !

I don't follow COD that much. Played 1,2,4 back in the day. Had fond memories so got MW19 then when on gamepass started playing BO6 and loved it. For me this just doesn't have the same appeal. I wouldn't say its bad but the setting just does not interest me at all.

Watched few streamers playing over the weekend, a bit muted response. Looks exactly the same like BO6.
I think it will struggle this year.

I put quite a bit of time into BO6 until probably February this year when i completed the dark matter camo grind. Play a few hours of the open beta and as you would expect it's a reskinned BO6. It felt faster paced than i was expecting, i thought they moving away from the small map obsession of BO6, but then I play a full-on rush approach. I think the most interesting part is the introduction of the minimal SBMM playlist. It felt pretty competitive to me, which is what most commentators seem to be saying. But then it's still in beta so you're going to get the more hardcore fans of the franchise, plus over the years much of the casual player base has moved on. I'll be playing it, but how much I'm not so sure. Next year's CoD with a new engine and binning off the PS4 gen consoles will be the interesting one to watch.

This game is awful..

Same crap GUI, wooden gunplay, the movment is silly and the maps are still rubbish.

Just feels like a free to play game and not AAA standard at all.

Out of the 6 maps that are available now, only 2 are anywhere near ok. What annoys me most is the sound, no footsteps etc it’s just dead, I was playing one game and thought I had disconnected as it was just silent and hadn’t seen anyone in a while, but I hadn’t disconnected it was just lifeless.

The maps which are purposely made for wall running are terrible. Zombies seemed ok though :)

Game aside, the most infuriating thing I find about COD on PC is it spends ages constantly updating in battlenet then launches, then tells you because it's updated it needs to restart the game again....even though I've just updated it and started it?!

That, and the shader cache. Why does it need to do shader cache every driver update? I've not seen any other game ever do this, it feels like very lazy coding to me and yet each release in the last few years the same crap is still there.

The game is ruined by cheaters. why does nothing get done about it? even reporting them nothing happens.
