The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

Just got back from watching it an hour ago. Yeah that was pretty epic visually, found myself feeling a bit sorry for the animators as that looked like a bear to get done haha
A few of the flashbacks janked the pacing a bit I felt, but overall it was a decent movie.

But yes, wish we didnt have to wait for the other parts of the ending trilogy.

Been reading the demon slayer movie had a LOT of flashbacks to the point some regretting going to the cinema for this. How true is this?

Not flashback like things we've seen before, but there are always sections of bits of story before. Since they are already inside the infinity castle, so to break up the pace a little, it refers to events happened before.

I hadn't even noticeddit tbh, and it's not something to mark it down for.

What an odd point to end Season 2 of Kaiju. I was convinced there would be an 12th episode (excluding ep0) this week, I was very disappointed to find out there was not.

Was thinking that too, pretty surprising to stop so abruptly.

Well, I guess all our fears came true from seeing those trailers.
One Punch Man S3 opener was basically all panning static shots with moving mouths.

Need to see some fights and more eps though before giving a full and final verdict, but not a good start :(

I can't stop listening to this!!!

Just saw that, that's not bad - I think I'd have enjoyed that more than last year's film.
Actually not a bad shout for a long form series over multiple seasons; Sauron actually makes a pretty perfect anime villain; just exudes style in his more famous forms. Got think at least a few studios have already tried to get the rights, surely?

Fell asleep watching 1st of OPM season 3.

Sakomoto days S2 way better than 1.
Dr stone, keeps getting ridiculous but was better than previous season.
Tougen Anki is up and down for me.

OPM season 3 starting caught me by surprise. Saw a trailer a few weeks ago for a new season of Baki in 2026.

Don't remember if I ever mentioned it in here but if you like Baki you'll probably like Kengan Ashura too.
