——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

I'll pre order tonight.

Can get £100 psn voucher for £87.

Phatmon edition it is.

I really hope the servers can handle demand when the game goes live Friday.

That's what I ended up doing! I got the regular verison for a 70 quid PS voucher for 61 quid worked out pretty nicely.

I've got a horrible feeling that launching at the same time everywhere on Friday is going to be a bit of a ********...

Got a horrible feeling servers are going to struggle a little on friday, hope im wrong though as well excited for this

I've just realised Ive made a boob. I finish at 11am/12pm on a Friday. Just went and booked loads of appointments right up until I pick up the little guy from nursery. What a fool!

Just play the class locked modes and make it known that’s what we want? Or aren’t you fussed?
open weapons (amongst a few other things) is one of the reasons I'm not touching BF6 until after release
Hoping this game is great after the insult of BF2042 (hardcore BF3/BF4 player), I think I'll wait for the final reviews before taking the plunge this time. Still proud of my 51 minutes total playtime on BF2042 :)

You should be ashamed, I saw sense, the beta was enough to say nope :p

Looks like a lot of folk in here who were vocal and appeared to not like the beta have gone out and pre-ordered....not pointing any fingers

Not me :)

The beta was ok but it just didnt click with me, as per my posts. Enough of a not click that I knew I wouldnt be getting it on day one, my shooter money is still going toward Arc Raiders instead this month. Maybe I'll get BF6 somewhere down the line but tbh, I always find that competitive online shooters are always FAR harder to get into later on than they are at release, its one of those genres that I find if you arent there from the start its much harder to click with down the road. Hence why I'll be there at the start of Arc Raiders rather than BF6 this month.

And the no server browser for the main game has me flipping them the bird as well. I prefer vehicle centric maps, no way am I going to jump in and out of game after game to find a map I like because the morons at dice are suddenly incapable of figuring out the reasons for having a server browser. Its only been in every pc bf game ever besides the last abomination that failed miserably.

Not pre-ordered, beta had too many game designs that I didn't like.

1. Player speed too high
2. Open weopen classes
3. Slide cancelling/Slide shooting
4. Maps too small
5. Helicopters flew like arse

Will see what reviews are like on launch.

The helicopters flew like they had stabilizers on the sides like a child's bike, could only really tilt to one side or the other, in past games you could roll and flip the helicopters, that level of agility is too much for the new dice to allow.

Launch of this game is going to be interesting, there is a hacking group absolutely wrecking BF4 servers for the last week and some other BF titles and say they are going to do the same to BF6, sure Dice/EA are doing **** all about sorting it on old games and if they weren't so incompetent it wouldn't be so easy for these groups to do it, but if they do manage the same against BF6, which is likely even more exposed to it with the matchmaking, etc. architecture, then they are going to have a massive launch headache when most players can't play for more than 5 minutes or so before they get dumped out of very laggy games.

Surprised its only 72gb.
Textures were pretty average in the beta and the maps are pretty small.

6. Weapons like laser beams.
7. Support getting health and ammo.
8. Auto healing after 5 seconds.

There are other things and DICE claim to have made improvements but I'm not willing to spend £60 to find out it wasn't enough.

If it follows anything like previous (recent) battlefields, it will be heavily discounted soon after launch

I read that Nvidia have released a new driver to run bf6 are AMD releasing a new driver ? i cannot find any info and no mention of it with the latest AMD driver being released

Cheers

Are the pre orders including any exclusive weapons?

What is the Hatchet L110 Weapon Package included with the tombstone pack?

It's so unclear if this is just a skin or a weapon.

All this season, battlepass, skin, unlocks stuff just confuses me to the point where I don't want to deal with it.
You don't really ever have to interact with that element, you can just buy game & play game.

It's like a blueprint from COD if you played that, it's a skin for a weapon that comes with all of the attachments already (as they're designed with the overall skin in mind). You can't take any of the attachments off.

Essentially just treat it like a skin.
