Which pixel phone is good at the moment ? new or refurbished?

and that the phone is an unlocked phone?
All phones are sold unlocked by law. This has been a thing for quite a number of years now.

Hence why even if you buy the phone through voxi there's nothing stopping you withdrawing from the £10/MTH contract within the cooling off period.

Voxi couldnt even help me with a sales query, so i doubt i would get much out of them pre sales , doesnt fill me with confidence. I know i would probably have to call vodafone to cancel any contract.

Also trustpilot doesnt give me good feelings with the reviews for voxi.

Did you see my previous post about these guys ?

https://www.metrofone.co.uk have it for £369

they actually have a phone number on their site you can call

No contract you have to sign up for

Pure handset only deal

Anyone used metrofone before, just spoke to them on the phone, they seem legit and professional.

also fonehouse have the same £369 deal for the pixel 9a

This is what voxi have said over their chat

Not sure if i should bite the bullet and try it with them? although there is possibility they would mess me about after sale

VOXI is not a contract deal its a pay as you go plan for which you have to pay monthly and it auto renews after every 30 days, so you have to get a VOXI deal/sim card with a handset.

no im not bothered about the first month, if you select the £10 a month deal, however, do i need to speak to anyone to cancel anything?how does the pay as you go thing work ? you just have to top up if you want to use more on the phone? if you dont want to top up, you dont pay ? who does the sim live with and how do you cancel the sim?

if i select the 30month £10 a month deal, im happy with paying the first month £10, but i wouldnt want to use that sim or pay for anything after the first month

You can contact us and we will help you raise the plan opt out request. If you do not use the sim for 180 days it will be disconnected.

And in VOXI plan gets auto renews after every 30 days so for that we will raise the plan opt out request so if does not get auto renewes.

The reviews online about voxi are not good usually 1 or 2 stars per review,

compared to 4.5 out of 5 starred reviews for metrofone,

Or shall i take a punt with Voxi ?

I did

This is what voxi have said over their chat
/snip

So basically they said:
1. It's not a "contract" it's PAYG
2. You pay £10 for the first month (which we knew already)
3. Recontact chat again once you get the phone to cancel the PAYG agreement

So £323 (£313 + £10), is it that hard?
Even if it takes you 5 months (well, 5.9 months for the pedant) to cancel the Voxi PAYG agreement, that's still cheaper than getting it through metrofone (£313 + £50 = £363, vs £369)

the battery has been fine, however, the issue started a week ago, with the battery meter not working, then, today, its not charging at all.

from last week previously, the battery charge was holding very well, wasnt draining fast.

the 9a your referencing in the link above, what the "a" difference compared to a "pro" ?

£323 is a more reasonable price, however, something is telling me the "a" is a more povvy specced one.
The "a" specced phones are fine. I think they run the same chips as the Pro phones, the key differences are screen and camera (but I've no complaints with my screen or camera).

I have an 8a, and had a 6a prior to that (which I only replaced as I smashed it pretty badly and Google were offering a decent trade-up deal to the 8a). My other half has a 9 Pro. Hers is a little slicker with a noticeably better screen, but the 8a is absolutely fine. If you want the best of the best, get the 9 Pro. If you just want a good value phone that works, get the 9a.

ok thanks, so i will aim at ordering tonight,

Looking to go through voxi to get a pixel 9a

the 16gb ram vs 8gb ram is also a massive difference. With newer android versions it could support in the future , would 16gb be better ? or would 8gb ram be fine on the 9a ?

Trying to transfer the funds from the likes of zopa or chase

Its stupid that although 2FA is good, its no good when your phone doesnt work and you need a code to login to the bank :p
