Can't pass POST - CPU & DRAM light stay on - Any advice before ASRock RMA? CMOS battery? [AM5]

Update: RMA'd CPU. Installed new CPU (+cooler & paste).

Back to where I have lights and fans spinning (including RAM lights). No dGPU installed currently BUT still cant POST

CPU and DRAM debug LEDs still on (both RED -maybe reddish orange but defo same colour), 3 beeps from beeper. Did I fry my motherboard?

tamzzy, I appreciate your assitance with this throughout, thank you.

The plot thickens? With 1 stick of RAM installed at slot A2 (manual recommends B2 but that is the flange I broke while being clumsy)

5 beeps, Body and VGA light up red but then lights go out (but still- no display - tried 2x Displays and HDMI and DP port on Integrated)
Is it possible I have damaged ram slots and perhaps the modules themselves? Anything else to try?

Oh sorry you answered that already.

In which case I would say plug your GPU back in and try it out, with the ram remaining in the A2 slot

Tamzzy I am there! She boots! Thank you, thank you.

CPU need RMA'ing and ram error (certain slots don't work - my self-sabotage). 5beep was my monitor not auto-switching. Lost time and a lost RAM slot but a functioning system. And always use the PSU's supplied cables!
