——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

I played the Beta without issue, have played actual release without issue for a while but now intermittently having GPU Driver issues.

I have noticed if I go to add Weapon Attachments whilst the game is Matchmaking then I get this error.

I just played a full match without issue.

Edit: Just changed from Borderless to Full Screen, read it online somewhere so we shall see.

Oh yeah, just checked mine and its the same, interesting, should be over 70gb

I'm convinced it's not installing some of the content after you download it. I said in a previous post that when my friend downloaded it he had to sit through a 20 minute install process after downloading, his copy works fine and his install shows the correct size. When i downloaded it there was no lengthy install process and my install shows the 25gb install size.

Well, loads of personal and work issues meant I've just got in and have been cursing all afternoon/evening that I'm missing out.
Well it appears in typical EA fashion that I havent missed a thing.

I think this may have fixed it for me, things are now installing that previously weren't installed despite them all being downloaded.

1: In the EA App press Manage > Modify Install
2: Uncheck BF6 MP and SP and click update install
3: Fully close EA APP
4: Launch the App
5: Go back to Manage > Modify Install
6: Check MP and SP again then click update install

Is that for everyone? My friend is on EA and playing
Most people that have bought it on EA app cant play, your friend is one of the lucky ones, wish i bought it on steam now lol but have read a few people have the same exact problem on steam, just not as many.

I've just done the same and it seems to be reinstalling.

Will report back if it worked.

Ok so just played a couple of rounds and man it's so fast paced and smooth, Running on Overkill settings and it looks very good with seemingly excellent netcode which was expected anyway.

The curious thing is that my 12700KF is being fully utilised around 85% on average the whole time whilst the GPU is around the same although I have framerate capped to 120 max. The game runs +100fps at all times with DLSS enabled. The optimisation appears to be truly excellent even if I am CPU limited at these settings, I can just whack everything up and let the 4090 do its thing. Note that online it uses 14GB of VRAM just by the game alone, so 16GB inc OS and BG apps is the norm.

Not using Frame Gen.

Screenspace reflections on water don't jank out here either which is interesting, atmosphere and volumetrics are great.

Battlefield is back!

Had my PC crash for the first time in as long as I can remember before even playing, with just the game menu and Discord open  Event Viewer said this:

The following information was included with the event:

EAAntiCheatService
ExitType: 95 (267)

Managed 3 rounds after that without any issues though so hopefully it was just a one-off.

It's early days yet but the game runs beautifully and feels like a lot of fun.
