Borderlands 4 (2025)

Hit my first "bug" last night. Fighting in one of the Auger caves against one of the bosses (invisible toxic throwing mauler dog thing) and it went behind the barrier down one of the tunnels. It couldn't hit me and I couldn't hit it. And there we stood; the slow realisation creeping in that I would have to restart the whole sorry affair. Damn you stupid invisible animal. WHYYYYYYY!!!

Still playing this and can't believe how good the visuals still are

Not sure where you or the other chap got the HWRT engine.ini settings from but the graphical differences are night and day TBH.

Not sure how well it runs on lesser GPU’s but on my 5090 the game looks great now.

I think the other editions include the DLC available in March 2026
Well i just looked into this a bit, seems you have to buy the deluxe version, just to see 4 unique areas and bosses, this ant on really, should be in the standard game as far as im concerned, fair enough the super deluxe has new regions, but that's the upcoming dlc.

I dont think those areas are even in the game yet?

There are different 'levels' of DLC.

The complete base game is included in all editions.

The Deluxe edition adds the Bounty Pack Bundle which will include some new areas and bosses when these launch as DLC, starting in November.

The Super Deluxe also includes the Vault Hunter Pack which will include the two major DLCs with new maps/areas along with two new vault hunter characters.

Of course both of these packs can be purchased as add-ons at a later date. You get the whole game regardless of edition, it's just whether you want to "pre-pay" for the added content.

Any tips on best weapons/grenades/tactics for fighting vile enemies? Just started encountering them and they're a biblical PITA.
Wombo Combo legendary assault rifle is great against them as are most explosives, the waterfall and firepot legendary grenades also.
