Hmmm… I did experience a direct x error and crash but couldn’t remember what I was doing at the time.

I put it down to my GPU undervolt not being stable so knocked it back a bit.

I’ll try this next time I’m online and see if that does indeed cause the error.

Same experience here,also map balance seems horrendous especially on medium to small maps where you often find getting killed from behind constantly after spawn.
To be honest I was expecting a lot more maps during the launch.

Yes, the issue is what prompted me to install the latest driver set 25.10.1

I have Googled the error code and it seems a wide spread issues across both Team Green and Team Red.

GPU is running at Default Settings - I haven’t had this issue in any other game until BF6, yet only whilst in game in the weapon attachment menu.

I have just ran DDU and Re-Installed Drivers, I will verify game files via Steam and see if that has done the trick later on :) Fingers Crossed.

Not age

I'm usually near the top in every Battlefield even in 2042. Something feels off with this one, like it's a ***ard child of COD!

Still enjoying it though, just miss those big maps

Its bad when i regularly topped scoreboards in 2042, that tells me its base are pretty damn poor in general.
Maybe really good players moved on? compared to everyone is playing BF6 right now.
 
My mate with a 4080 super is getting crashes every time we try to play
He can play for a bit then gets direct x crash. We both also paid for the premium version from steam for 90 quid yet we're seeing the game say we have to pay 30 quid for Phantom edition.
 
Loving the game more and more, starting to get used to it a little more now, just had my best round so far with 31 kills, 15 deaths and 12 captures....came 2nd at end game :)

This absolutely BLOWS every battlefield since bf4 away for me, we are back baby!!

Depends - do you like an FPS thats just about getting the kills or winning the game? You can of course just play for the kills, but it is a much more rewarding game to play the objective.

I think it can be tough to learn and get used to sometimes just being killed and there isn't a thing you can do about it - walk into a a tank, have 1000lb bomb dropped on your head.

You have great moments too and it does feel good when you have out thought your opponents. I love counter-strike which is a pretty pure FPS experience - but BF is more fun, more varied, more entertaining.

Probably an unpopular opinion, however I'm gonna say it I think I preferred the gunplay in the Beta. Not that its bad, but it just feels like everyone is running around with nerf guns now.
 
I'm getting hard crashes, loud noises and black screen style crashes. I have to hold down power to stop it. If I leave it too long then it buggers my drivers and I have to reinstall them. If I catch it early enough I can just reboot. Only happens on Conquest / big maps. Domination I can play fine. Temp and everything looks fine. Really annoying.
