Watching a video form jackfrags with a weird conquest bug, the enemy team were at zero tickets and the game wouldn't end until the other team tickets also expired, then the team that were at zero tickets first won in the end :confused:

Watching gameplay vids I'm half tempted to buy it, but the no server browser thing is irritating. Not to mention having to fork out for a 9070xt. Might just give it a week or 2 and see how things go.

There is a server browser, you need to go into filters under community, then select game mode tab and form here you can filter the type of game/number of players list order etc and then join a server that has people playing based on your filters.

The only proper browser is in portal, the filter thing according to some videos doesn't even work right half the time. Id prefer to be able to search based on map name rather than being stuck into one of these shoebox sized maps.

Fair, I only used it to test out the user cfg thing so wanted to make sure I was on the same map and player size etc to keep things level and it worked fine for that.

I've had similar happen in BF3, 4 and Battlefront 2 so may just be Frostbite engine jankiness, one of the reasons I'm loath to buy BF6 - there always seems to be bug and feature regression on any new product on the engine and then maybe months later they roll in fixes which were done to older titles years ago if you are lucky.

Often when that happens I find something even weirder has happened - it is like half the players on the server have been partitioned off playing their own game for a few minutes and then the server has been badly knitted back together and you suddenly find players with wildly different scores to a few moments before, etc. or players suddenly exist who weren't there before but have scores which indicate they'd been playing awhile, etc. - I can't even imagine how that happens from a technical perspective without large amounts of proxying the gameplay for no good reason.

Might be worth a watch, setting up your hud and indicators to make things stand out a bit more, enemy indicators showing as red instead of orange.

I had the enemy team having zero tickets last nigh with the music going on the whole game but we won with 400+ tickets.

For me this is a £30 game and if it could be had for that I'd probably have bought, there's too many irritating niggles, based on my beta playtime, that I might I'd be bored in a few weeks.

That's a filter not a browser, definitely not the same thing. From what I've seen of that is doesn't always work and you often have a bunch of bits in your game to make up the numbers

However, I'm now getting icue crashes which takes the game down. Not sure if it's related as, although I've now removed the config file, I've not tested it yet. Maybe a coincidence but it was fine before.

Two occasions of ?memory leaks. Sudden drop in fps to around 40. Only way to reset it is exit the game to the menu. Both before and after updating drivers.

Two of us crashed last night. Both have dlss - mine happened after enabling dlss. Mate didn't have dlss enabled.

Same, I noticed I have the same CPU as MRK who seemed affected but my usage seems fine based on temps. Gonna try the fix later anyway and see what difference it makes. Can't resist tweaking lol

You either cater for BF or COD, not both.

It's worked for me, I was looking at my CPU temp gage on the motherboard whilst playing a few times. And saw 90+ a few times. Saw a video on a list of fixes and this was in it. Since then, it's high 70s, so a nice drop. Certainly worth, doing some troubleshooting for this title.

Played 2 maps so far, seems alright nothing like the enjoyment of Bf2-4 that I had. Probably unfair for me to say that with an hour's playtime. Hopefully I'll love it once I've got all the maps under my belt.

Played all the BF games and after 15 hours of this I have mixed feelings. I do like it and really wanted to love it but it's just not Battlefield is it.

This was made primarily just to steal Cod players and make them feel like they are playing more of a Cod game than Battlefield and by that they have succeeded.

I'll still play it and have fun but it's just not Battlefield.

Same ol getting shot behind cover, infuriating sometimes. Getting the drop on someone and having them turn and basically oneshot you is also present and correct. Definitely Battlefield!
