Amazon Prime sucks massive donkey balls

I'm near Wincanton, my Amazon Logistics delivery driver is in Bournemouth with tracking saying 3 stops and 20 minutes away... I've got a feeling that isn't going to happen.

I'm betting on it changing to "Your driver has a few more drops to make".

EDIT: Yup on cue "The driver has to make a few more deliveries on the way to your address", though they are now only a couple of miles down the road.

EDIT2: Just turned up so not too bad.

means other people in my household are now shopping more at places other than Amazon LOL.

Good.

I understand the lol it's ironic as they've effectively lost themselves sales, but in any case good.

Id much rather support UK retailers than this abomination if a company.

Trying to buy razor blades I've bought countless times before.
Please verify your age...

Sorry age verification isn't available just now...

*****.

I'm trying to buy a new razor and I can't pass the age verification...
tired copying and pasting my payment details across, tried editing the details on my credit card payment and tried switching payment method...

This sucks BALLS!!!

I got through it by changing the initial on my card to full first name. Mental.

It sounds like UK is getting the short end of the stick, your delivery drivers alone are utter nonsense. Here in the US... it's.... just.... lovely. Hahahahahhaha. Sorry.\

Deliveries are by actual Amazon electric vans, prime next day is next day, I don't watch the Prime TV much but have been surprised not to see any ads (yet), prices are however reasonable, return policy is utterly phenomenal where I can sample and keep the winning choice.

They have however completely crushed any competition which I can't say I agree with so they're the only real choice now. Also the reviews are scary, you can tell which are bot farm reviews because they all read like they've been written by the exact same person, so you need to be really decisive about what you believe.
In my area they are still very good compared to other couriers.

Deliveries are getting late in the day again I had one at 9pm a week ago, but still arriving on the day they stated. They also the only company I have seen that can do same day delivery. Easily the best returns policy as well. You can also change delivery instructions whilst its out in delivery van. So still miles ahead of the competition.

That 9pm delivery the driver also rang me as was struggling to park, if a DPD driver had that issue, they would just mark as missed delivery and move on.

However I dont like they making an effort to make it harder to contact them over phone, and some products are drifting from free next day to free day after next day.

Order was due today And I needed it today, I waited in all day for it and at 11pm the status changes to delivery on 3rd Oct.
Completely useless. Order is getting returned the second it ever arrives just on principle .

Lol.

Well I'm currently with their solicitors trying to claim for injury. So we will see how that goes.

Won't feel guilty taking a penny off them.

Ordered a magsafe phone case and wireless power bank today as the charging port on my phone is getting knackered.

Magsafe case from eBay, and power bank from Argos, Argos will deliver tomorrow but I saved a few quid getting it on Sunday.

Amazon avoided yet again.

Admittedly I payed a few more quid getting it at Argos over Amazon, I'll pay it gladly.

Canceling is the only thing that hurts them by costing them money.
That's the only thing they care about.

yea I wanted them to know exactly why I cancelled.

I cancelled prime too and said the same.

they shouldnt lumber drivers with too many parcels

Judging by the looks of despair of the courier firms* that trigger my door video, I would guess Amazon is not alone in what you write.

*Apart from Parcel Force, who leave next door and the Royal fail, who couldn't give a ****.

Amazon service wins again for me today.

Ordered a Peugeot pepper grinder for £60, they sent the wrong one which was worth £55 so went on chat and suggested rather than returning they gave me a partial refund.
They just offered a full refund and keep it. Didn't take long to think about that one.

yes, you cant beat amazons return policies.

These blasted ads on Prime Video are really winding me up now. We are working our way through Supernatural and have just started season 8. We watched two episodes last night, around 40 minutes each and had eight ad breaks including the one that plays before the episode!! One of them had three ads in it while a few others had two ads and one wasn't even in English. It's always at a crucial moment in the program. Gambling sites make up the majority of the ads, something I would love to see banned from UK advertising!! If it wasn't for the wife I would have cancelled by now but she won't let me. I will not pay to get rid of the ads due to the scummy way they brought this in, it's nothing but pure greed!!

Never had a problem with Amazon's return policy; they even gave me a full refund for a £30 pair of shoes after 11 months as they fell apart and told me to keep them. Ordered three items of superglue yesterday; only two showed up. I asked Amazon about the missing one, and they refunded me for the entire lot and said keep them, only £6, but still free, and I never even asked for that.

Nothing better than ordering a Prime item and getting a RM48 tracking number.

‘Yeah I know you’re expecting it tomorrow, but next Thursday will have to do.’
