——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

I don’t think the game is sniper friendly. With all the clutter on or around the capture points and maps in general you have to be damn lucky to be able to have full overwatch on a flag as a sniper and the easiest counter is smoke grenades.

Playing aggressively doesn’t mean everything in your arsenal has to be attack focused so swap out those frag grenades for smokes if you can or get your support players to lay them down when going in for the capture.

Open weapons lobbies are dog ****. Just full of braindead idiots, nobody has any situational awareness. I'll go hide in the closed weapon lobbies for now until the braindead horde get bored and download the BO7 that they said they wouldnt.

Anyone had the issue where the game just stops showing any Experience servers after you've looked for a few?

It's almost like you DDOS the server handling the browser and it just goes "Nope. No more servers for you sonny Jim!"

I have to exit the game and come back in to get them to reapper.

Did anyone else preorder on Steam and doesn't have the Tombstone stuff? I can't tell if I'm just being stupid or if it's actually still not there? I check my Steam/EA accounts and they're linked up.

Zero recoil or spread, you see this a lot with these social media streamers and youtubers, and quite often Youtube ones are also clearly speeded up by 20% or so, as if we can't tell...

I know one player who plays with a gaming pad on PC, goes on quite a bit about how good he is, all he does is flick the stick and pulls the trigger, any tracking or final aim adjustment is done automatically by the game its self, it even reduces the recoil and spread, so annoying when people use what are built in aimbots bang on about how good they are and actually believe it.

That's what you're seeing here, when you see people with perfect snap aim every time and the gun is unloading in to you like its a laser beam.... its not cheating, its what they game calls "Aim Assist" for game pad users.

I also find it interesting that console users can disable cross play, PC users cannot.

Apart from the snap to the guys head behind a wall that wasn't on the minimap ;)

Also, these streamers and youtubbers don't play like this at live lan events. Pretty telling !

Ok sure some of it is dodgy but you get my point, not all of them are cheating and yet all of these youtubers / streamers have the same characteristics in their videos, why does my game not play like that? why don't my guns shoot with almost perfect stillness and emasculate accuracy?

Because you're using a mouse.

Here is a console player complaining "Aim Assist" is not working correctly because the auto tracking is lagging....

How this works is you move the stick and then the software takes over the target tracking, no input from you, all you have to do is hold the stick in the direction the player is moving, that's it. Also known as an Aimbot. if you're using a mouse and you have software doing that you're cheating.

Its so bizarre to me that something which on PC would be considered a "cheat", is considered a "feature" on console.

I remember a time when it was advantageous to use mouse and keyboard, to the extent that people used to look at it like it was unfair when others were using a controller.

When did it all go to sh..?

I seem to lose every single 1v1 I come across. I'm trying to work out if I can't aim, I can't react, my internet is crap or my low level guns are poo. In the kill screen people have hit me 4 times in the body limbs whereas when I kill someone it seems to take 7 or 8 "thhk" Sounds / white crosses :(

Happening to a lot of us dude!

I just put a 30 round mag into an enemy face, his head animation showed him being hit.

No damage

He turns to me, I dive into cover. I die behind cover

5ms ping, 1gb internet

Not played a battlefield game since bf2 and decided to purchase this game today. I thought it would be hard to get back into but i'm finding after a couple of hours of play now it's quite enjoyable.

I like the repetitive nature of the game.

The same is happening to me to the point where I'm fairly sure it's not just me sucking although that is still a distinct possibility :p

1 v 1 I seem to go down very fast and 9/10 they win.

I have fast internet (1gb).

Gonna just have to keep practising and aim for the head but something feels off like they're seeing me before I see them or something like that.
