Yeah what was that about in the end? I remember it at the time, and then she died shortly after. Wasn't it suicide due to her injuries she didn't want to keep going? Or the car crash was totally fake?
 
Watching a prog today and it is saying he has not lost the titles but is just not using them. About Andrew losing the Prince title they were saying that they will follow whatever Charles says but they have no intention of removing it. Neither Labour or the Tories, so it aint happening unless Charles decides to do it.
 
as said, parliament ruling needed, like for mandelson, who would have to go too.

The car crash and photo were fake. Police said there was no record of someone being injured in a car crash that day. Apparently she did hit a bus, but only gently. Police said no injuries at the time.

It was a pack of lies that ended up on global news due to the earlier royal connection.

She had a family violence restraining order against seeing her children and I'm sure being seen to fabricate a story about an accident did no good for her wanting custody or her divorce proceedings. She killed herself while that was ongoing so make a guess who they were siding with.

She claimed her husband beat her into hospital earlier this year, yet just like the "car crash" there was nothing from the police to support her version of events and she's the one on a restraining order. Her husband didn't seem to do much yapping to the media.

Is there any evidence she claimed the car crash happened? I know it was reported, but I guess we should be cautious of how some big media may feel some pressure to make her look crazy. Was it jsut reported that she had said a crash happened, or is there something quotable that came from directly from her?

Bring back execution for national leaders/figures/representatives who abuse their position tbh. Add some real accountability to it.

For gods sake Charles boot him out of his free residence, in fact boot him out of the country, his mates in the Middle East will take him in, they don't mind a bit of noncing. Its clear as day he's a total wrongun and was deep in Epstein's ring of abuse.

- equally guess the bookbible doesn't itself name others , wouldn't she have left a letter that named the names (what was the evidence of Margaret thatchers affairs)

but once again, this morning just tired with my r4 today news feed the bbc prioritizing this - is Muskovision worse
 
I think at the end of the day, if we want a monarchial system we will have to suck it up. Otherwise become a Republic.
He can be 'sent to Coventry' for the rest of his life. That would hurt him more as he is apparently quite pompous and the position means everything to him.
It would also set a precedent, if future Govts dislike some member of the Royals, they strip them of Royal titles.
I could not care less if we go to a Republic.

These threads really are the pits sometimes.

All of you frothing at the mouth like Facebook aunties over some headlines.

The PA stuff is boring now, VG’s family are milking it (can’t blame them) and it’s a shame because it distracts from genuine abuse victims.

PA was never charged with anything, the Met found no grounds to pursue a case, most of what’s being chucked around is civil, not criminal. VG’s own statements have shifted over the years and been challenged in court as a result, it’s not the clear cut story you all want it to be. That’s not even mentioning her own lies and violent restraining order issues.

He was indeed involved with Epstein and he’s probably a bit of a creep but this constant outrage cycle over VG does nothing except drown out attention from actual abuse cases that could do with a spotlight.
