Borderlands 4 (2025)

I used to, but the last couple of patches have improved stability for me. Plenty of people in the Steam forums who continue to have problems though. What GPU are you running ?
I'm running a 3080ti, crashes are less frequent than before but they still happen.

Is it happening in-game, or during shader compilation ? ( the "tunnel" screen as your character is loading in ). I found having an aggressive undervolt on my GPU caused instability particularly during shader compilation. I haven't had any crashes during gameplay for 2-3 weeks now.

Funnily enough it was the tunnel screen, but I have had just during game play before. Not as much now, the last 2 times I've had crashes are during tunnel screens though.

Ok, so it's a shader compilation problem then. There's not a singular fix for this ( because the problem is really on Gearbox's / NVIDIA's end for this particular title ) but some have had success with clearing their shader cache and increasing the allocated reserved memory. For me, this game wasn't stable with my GPU at stock settings, or using an aggressive undervolt. I resolved the situation by enabling an undervolt that targets improved efficiency / lower power consumption ( not increased performance ). And others have had some success by disabling PBO or switching off XMP / EXPO memory overclock in BIOS.

Ah ok, I hear what you're saying. I should probably upgrade my card to a 5080 from the 3080ti.

What builds are people rocking for Harlowe?

I've been generally using her red tree with Neutron Capture as it's very strong but feel like exploring the other trees.

The green tree is generally regarded as very strong too but the issue i have is that every build I've seen incorporates the Group Study capstone yet personally I find the orbs really distracting and annoying and don't really want to inflict those on my co-op partners all the time.

I used Moxsy's builds as he changed them up for levelling / end game.

SpoooOoOooky! You just got some new Halloween customizations for your Vault Hunter. Go to your Vault Hunter's Inventory and open the Reward Center... if you dare?!?!?!

Gives you the "Gourd Your Loins" Vault Hunter Head usable by Vex, Rafa, Amon, and Harlowe, and the "Hex Appeal" Weapon Skin that can be equipped to any weapon.

Having now played the game for a good few hundred hours, I have to say that I am really disappointed. The game is little better than BL3, and in fact has many of the problems BL3 has, and yet seems to offer little other than a rather poorly executed open world. The Halloween effort was the final straw Another "waiting around doing nothing" event with incredibly poor drop rates. No thanks, I've stopped playing now, even though I bought the expansion packs I will probably never even download.
