——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

I seem to have got progressively worse at this game the more I've played it. Not sure sure what's going on but it feels like I'm playing with elite players with impossibly fast reactions a lot of the time. Even when I get the jump on people - or at least it seems that way from my perspective - they still kill me instead. Starting to wonder if I'm finally feeling the effects of getting older (47) and simply can't play like I used to.

Is there anything more infuriating than a team letting an enemy IFV exist. One can be laying waste to our team and I'll be the only person trying the take it out. Like WTF???
Everyone is far too self absorbed trying to pad out their K/D ratio! Sooner BO7 drops the better!

Yes the game is not without issues. However, far and away above BF6's most prominent issues is its player base! Change my mind!!!

Oman would have been a much better remake, that was the demo level for bf2 (when demos were free and didn't require preorders, they also were called demos and not betas). Quite a few maps they could have remade from the previous modern era BF games thst would have been better choices.

I would go back further, Wake Island on BF1942 was bliss! But that was then (and I was a much better player!).

Life advances, progress and change happens: BF6 is the way forward!

is anything worse than roof cheaters on sobek city

ruins breakthrough mode completely

ugh fix it please dice

I wonder if they can - in BF4 you could MAV boost through scenery or to climb just about anything with a bit of practise, never mind the engine lets the client "superjump" at will with using cheat software which I doubt is solved in BF6.

its not battlefield any more, if there was 20 v 20 on they maps that would be fine and space the control points out more but no lets have 64 players in a small space, its not got the soul of battlefield any more.

battlecod? got 52.6 hours on it and im like meh..... im still playing it but it is annoying as hell seeing a guy or a tank and going to get them then instantly getting killed by every other direction,,,,, way too many players on the small maps they have, no flanking or any thing :(

give us big maps dice and dedicated servers.......... or better yet just give us bf2 and vietnam maps.....

They went after the cod players with this..

The only reason cod players are playing this right now, is black ops 6 is meh and pretty much dead, and this is the next - best - thing for them.

And jumping to BF6 for them, is kind of a protest towards activistion to make changes (which they have)

Once black ops 7 is out (as bad as is it) most of these bf6 cod players will go back to cod..

They better hope BF BR is good or I feel this game will die out..

Thing is though if you look at older Battlefield games ~60% of players are playing stuff like (BF4 for example) 24x7 Lockers or Metro Conquest Large, ~20% are playing smaller city type maps often the smaller TDM walled version but with vehicles and higher player numbers, ~5% are doing weird vehicle servers or similar unlock servers with low player numbers and ~15% are playing actual Battlefield large maps with traditional Battlefield rules, etc. which probably directs the developer direction even though that isn't necessarily what Battlefield players want - a common complaint is that the mechanics and map layouts don't encourage team play and they get bored of running around objectives where the opposing teams are often chasing each other's tail rather than engaging and just settle for close quarter slaughterfests instead.

Teamplay on public games in BF has never been a thing.
Best thing to do is to make a squad with friends, use discord chat, and play that way.
The only time I hear someone using voice comms in BF is some console player mouthbreathing because they've forgotten to turn their mic off. :p

VPN to India (Delhi) EA APP. It's about £34.
Yeah I'm aware of that, bought all my other BF games since 3 from India or wherever was the cheapest at the time. Problem is now I dont have EA App installed and don't intend on ever installing that pos again. Needs to be £30 or less on Steam. But even then the more I read the more I'm swayed away. I mean have you seen those horrible skins....grounded they said... Season 2 and you'll all be running around as Batman and The Joker, they've already added Scarecrow :p

Hit Reg/Netcode is not due to be fixed until Season 1 drops

But chance of this actually happening? 0
Exactly, BF has had issues with hitreg going back to BF3. Still not fixed, then don't ever expected it to be.
in my earlier rant , i forgot to mention teamplay. there is none completely zero squad or team play. i thought the game had voip ive never heard anyone speak, no orders, no telling people what kit to take, no going for specific points,, and all the maps still feel cramp and small. even the firestorm map feels smaller, which wasnt even a good map before so no idea why they felt the need to remake it.

BF6 was looks to have been designed and all the marketing was aimed at bringing in the COD crowd so I wouldn't expect their to be team play.

Can you actually buy from the EA app using a VPN? I’m not paying £30 to upgrade to the Phantom Edition, but I can only upgrade through the app as the website doesn’t even recognise I have the game

Edit: nvm it doesn’t work on the app
