——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

Yeah it's total rubbish, only one mission of note! No missions where you can use a helicopter or plane which would have been great practice for the multi.
Thats a bit overdramatic. Its alright, certainly not its greatest selling point but it was ok. Feels like it was included for the sake of avoiding a backlash from not including one than anything else. It was a bit of mindless run and gun, whilst being pretty much linear and uninspiring. Basically an ok little time filler. I enjoyed it but its completely forgettable.

BIG PATCH coming

We are deploying Update 1.1.1.0 on Tuesday, October 28, followed by the Season 1 launch later that day

I can't see ANY hitreg/netcode fixes though

That requires them to spend some money on decent servers... which will eat into their profits, so thats not going to happen..

Edit: nothing on Supression against snipers either.. (as far as I can tell)

What's mental is how hot my CPU was getting before I did the CPU thread fix, why haven't they patched this? or maybe they will stealth patch it.
The game by default will use up to 24 cores I think.. so without the CPU tweaks it will just pin your CPU at 100%..

Havent tweaked my cpu and touch wood, its been fine, little high like all battlefields but no where near 100%

I was off work today and played in the day, what a difference :)

I think it’s a mixture of things…

- More Casuals, Less Sweats!
- Better Hit Registration
- No Match Sticks keeping eyes open whilst playing :p

I suppose this goes for any game, but when your having a bad run, followed by bad spawns and against a team which is over running you and being shot from all directions is so frustrating, not sure why but it just feels so much more frustrating than a death in previous Battlefields.

But when you are playing well, it feels really good…

Looking forward to the major patch which is on the horizon. :)

Interesting because from my experience it's the complete opposite. More sweats during the day and more casuals in the evenings. :D

I had a few good games just now :)

I've been trying to do "Arm or disarm objectives in Rush" for a few days, only at 3/5. These games are so imbalanced, half the time you have no hope, and when you have a hope you need to be the guy who presses the magic box, which is like 1/18 chance or whatever. So to get 5 things is going to require about 200 games or so. Mental.

Also don't know how to get kills or assists with jet or heli. To control it I need both hands on the keyboard, but then I can't shoot. so 0/5 on that and don't see a way around it. And like 9/10 times when I try to spawn on one someone already took it.

Anyone done the 30 Adrenalin Jab Kills?

I only just paid attention to realise you need to complete this challenge for Spawn Becon..

I was on 11 by accidentally catching X whilst playing as Assault now at 21 out of 30 after 2 games.

But what a challenge… having a 3 sec animation prior to running in and hoping for a kill in 0.5 seconds :o
