——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

Had weird hit reg issue earlier, literally unloading tank machine gun into x2 players and it did nothing. Strange, also had two crashes tonight yet nothing last night playing for about 3 hours each night ?

I am generally enjoying this - especially when the net code is working, when its not though, it really just makes you want to quit. Weapons need some balance, SMG's are better assault rifles than assault rifles.

I think the maps partly seem small because of the speed you move, the pace seems too fast to be battlefield.

All the maps seem to have so many paths and lanes through them that you can't form a front line and everyone is just chasing each other in circles and most deaths are not firefights - somebody just comes at you from a direction you weren't looking and with no front line you have to be looking everywhere.

Previous battlefields seem to be more capable of creating a frontline and actually would take a bit of creative work to out flank you - now you can just find anyone of a number of ways to flank.

You don't get the meat grinders like Metro and locker - but it is infuriating how often you just get shot in the back. And this constant running around isn't helping teamwork.

I like playing for the daily challenges but again I think they make you play in a way that isn't to win the round.

Spot on, this is the main thing is making me not want to play. Doesn't bother me in the slightest if someone betters me (which is much more common than not lol). But when I do well and kill someone, there is ALWAYS someone else ready to shoot you from a different angle. Tried watching vids to improve how I'm moving around. Tried almost camping or going Rambo.

Idiots reviving you in the line of fire too, so you spawn and die instantly feels awful.

Other than that, best BF in ages imo.

I am adjusting to the map sizes particularly fire storm etc. I just try to use cover more effectively and play more strategically it seems to be working, firestorm is by far my favourite, its all I play ideally.

I'm sure bigger maps are coming but this is by far the best BF game I've played and I've played them all.

Defibs 100% need a cool down. They are FAR too powerful its just comical at the moment. I also think the drag and revive function should only return max 1/3rd health and be held at that debuff until fully healed by a support/supply pack.

Sobek is my new most hated map. Its just terrible it really is. The NYC one from the beta is actually growing on me. But Sobek is truly awful map design.

Really enjoying the 417 A2 now. It really has some stopping power and despite the hefty recoil, its slower cyclic rate allows for very precise and easy control.

I played for an hour and its nothing like what I remember Battlefield games being like :( Its more run and gun, even in squad based games.
The SMG was overpowered in comparison to the recon sniper and M4A1. The most fun I had in an hour was laying in a bush and killing about 5 people at range with the SMG before anyone noticed where I was.
Refunded but may try it again in future.

I was also expecting great things physics wise based on videos of buildings and cranes falling down. I threw a grenade at a sign and wall and it didnt do a thing.

How pathetic is this? Some guy got a 7 day ban for typing in dog**** into chat, this in a game that has swearing audio left and right..
in a game where the charactors are swearing in an 18 rating..

Game is a joke anyway.. has too many issues and niggles for me..

I prefere the close quaters - fast paced combat, as it suits me, but the servers and net code are not up to it, and dont keep up..

still enjoying the game for what it is but it is not the battlefield of old, i hear the 2 new maps are small as well but something about golf carts been rideable lol

edit: had a nice shot earlier after switcing to the rpg (never realised my missle launcher was auto guided), seen the roof i was on was getting bombarded by a transport chopper shot it with a rpg and got a quad kill, now i know why my aim on rockets was off it was the auto rocket aim, rpg ftw :D

Worth £60? The last Battlefield game I played properly was BF2, which was incredible. I tried 3 and mayne another and it was poor in comparison.

The models and damage physics do look nice BF6 but still unsure if its worth it as I mainly play Warzone with friends (mixed console and PC play)

I wouldnt be bothered about a Campaign if there is one. Its more for getting to know and maybe level up weapons (if thats a thing) and get used to the game before the Battle Royale free mode is available.

It’s mind boggling how they’ve not even come close to BF2 after all of these years

The golf club/cart map looked really big on the last Will from Work YouTube video.

I've seen numerous post where people are getting banned for posting EZ in the chat.

EA's moderation via AI is ridiculously overzealous

Angry's video is up, contains a lot of swearing so just linking the channel
