Given how hard that rain is coming down its probably drier under the standsGood on the fans who are sticking around and singing

Klopp would often pick a side chock full of youngsters all the way until we got knocked out (he would often only bin off those youngster if we got to the final), I don't remember people moaning quite so much, but i suppose its the issue people have with Slot in that he isn't Klopp so certain people cant wait to get the knives outNo because as I said, its not black and white, its not "concentrate", not sure why people keep jumping to "concentrate". I never said the Carabao cup should be the only one we try for this season, what I am saying is dont just throw the cup away, which is what this team selection was.
To quote Baz "I'm not sure a manager ever picks a side to lose but this selection was pretty much as close as you could get" - what I am saying is dont pick a side to lose.
surely the criticism is more the fact liverpool desperately need a win from somewhere and this was an opportunity to get one?Klopp would often pick a side chock full of youngsters all the way until we got knocked out (he would often only bin off those youngster if we got to the final), I don't remember people moaning quite so much, but i suppose its the issue people have with Slot in that he isn't Klopp so certain people cant wait to get the knives out
The issue isn't that, it's that we've been on a terrible run going into this game.Klopp would often pick a side chock full of youngsters all the way until we got knocked out (he would often only bin off those youngster if we got to the final), I don't remember people moaning quite so much, but i suppose its the issue people have with Slot in that he isn't Klopp so certain people cant wait to get the knives out
Often though he would do that whilst we were actually playing well elsewhere/on good runs in other comps. I dont see how yet another spineless defeat today, helps to promote positivity amongst the team, imo this result just perpetuates the negativity amongst the team. Now, if by picking this team we go and beat Villa at the weekend, then sure, its then proven to be a wise choice perhaps, but if we lose again at the weekend then what have we gained from today?Klopp would often pick a side chock full of youngsters all the way until we got knocked out (he would often only bin off those youngster if we got to the final), I don't remember people moaning quite so much, but i suppose its the issue people have with Slot in that he isn't Klopp so certain people cant wait to get the knives out
Yeh think I enjoyed the Wrexham Cardiff game more yesterday tbhSpurs make dishwater look exciting. I haven't watched them a huge amount this season but whenever I have they have been crap. They've been effective when it comes to winning games but my word have they been an awful watch.
Good job they not at OTGiven how hard that rain is coming down its probably drier under the stands![]()
Does explain why Utds number one seller in the gift shop is the Red Devil UmbrellaGood job they not at OT
He would always pick kids in the carabao (and fa cup to a lesser degree) regardless of our form in the league, we had plenty of times where our league form wasn't great going into a cup competition and I don't ever recall people hoping we'd go full strength, it was largely the opposite. But all of a sudden some people want us to play our strongest lineupOften though he would do that whilst we were actually playing well elsewhere/on good runs in other comps. The magic of the cup, hopefully don't draw Arsenal awayFantastic evening of football so far![]()

Dont think , I might be wrong without checking, anyone was saying we should pick our "strongest" lineup, just that we shouldnt be picking a team almost designed to lose.He would always pick kids in the carabao (and fa cup to a lesser degree) regardless of our form in the league, we had plenty of times where our league form wasn't great going into a cup competition and I don't ever recall people hoping we'd go full strength, it was largely the opposite. there was 5 '1st team players' in the match day squad, who do you think could have changed the result given we've already lost to palace twice this season?Dont think , I might be wrong without checking, anyone was saying we should pick our "strongest" lineup, just that we shouldnt be picking a team almost designed to lose.
If it was me , and to be clear I am not a premier league manager, I'm only another forum armchair football coach. I'd have played this 11there was 5 '1st team players' in the match day squad, who do you think could have changed the result given we've already lost to palace twice this season?
