Slow Horses

To me the whole "destabilisation plot" thing fell a bit flat. Everything the bad guys did felt isolated and in no way creating any kind of resonant/snowball effect.
Good last episode, though. Curious about the grid pattern on Lamb's feet...

He told a story about torture mid season while the dogs had them captive , then said after it was a lie to trick the dogs obviously it was true.

ARGH I knew I was forgetting something.

I didn't really that episode was the last one :D Very good though, so entertaining. The duo of River and Lamb are perfect foils to each other.

Re. the feet I'm ashamed to say that took me a second too. Must find a clip of that story he told to understand it again. I kinda knew it had to be true though.

Thought the series overall was OK, then again it's the least favourite of the books

Really no idea what the next series is gonna look like trying to get two books with a fair bit of heft into six episodes

I enjoyed it overall
I really don't like the gun fighting they all suddenly get into in nearly every climactic final episode.

Next season looks Way OTT good to see daddy Elrond back.

Ha! Now you said that, i remember the story. I thought the shot of his feet was showing the viewer that he has some disease and is on his way out.

Ta for that, makes sense now.

I enjoyed the final episode more than the rest, this is what i want to see, Lamb using his old school spy stuff to out think and out wit the Park. River came out a bit better this episode too. The rest of the story was a bit pants.

Enjoyed s5, few moments that came out of no where that made me laugh, 'who's got a grudge against penguins' 'Batman' :)

With the subject matter of s5 this one felt like it could actually happen.

Just finished S5 and seem to have the same sentiment as most others, really enjoyed it though wasn't as good as the previous ones.

The story felt a bit more contrived to me, with some daft choices by the characters just to advance the plot. But still some great lines and drama and am looking forward to the next season.

I just did a catch-up really, how often does a new season take before release? I assume rather fast the way each ending gives you s preview for the upcoming one.
